This lovely west Plano kitchen was updated to better serve the lovely family who lives there by removing the existing island (with raised bar) and replaced with custom built option. Quartzite countertops, marble splash and travertine floors create a neutral foundation. Transitional bold lighting over the island offers lots of great task lighting and style.

Custom craftsmanship and distinctive detailing give this lakefront residence its vintage flavor while an open and light-filled floor plan clearly mark it as contemporary. With its interesting shingled roof lines, abundant windows with decorative brackets and welcoming porch, the exterior takes in surrounding views while the interior meets and exceeds contemporary expectations of ease and comfort. This a wall to wall cabinet - pantry - Home bar all built in cherry wood inside and out. It was part of kitchen remodel that took two rooms and made them one. I built all the cabinets including the wood tops, also installed the ash floor with a cherry strip. The cabinets where stained to match the clients Thomas Moser furniture. And finished off with brushed nickel hardware.
