This Caviness project for a modern farmhouse design in a community-based neighborhood called The Prairie At Post in Oklahoma. This complete outdoor design includes a large swimming pool with waterfalls, an underground slide, stream bed, glass tiled spa and sun shelf, native Oklahoma flagstone for patios, pathways and hand-cut stone retaining walls, lush mature landscaping and landscape lighting, a prairie grass embedded pathway design, embedded trampoline, all which overlook the farm pond and Oklahoma sky. This project was designed and installed by Caviness Landscape Design, Inc., a small locally-owned family boutique landscape design firm located in Arcadia, Oklahoma. A modern farmhouse home in the Hamptons we designed! We wanted the exterior to be just as stunning as the interior, so we installed large floor to ceiling windows, garden sculptures, and a unique L-shaped pool with a luxurious lounge area. Icehouse with guest bedroom and covered porch. Photography by Travis Keas The 3,400 SF, 3 – bedroom, 3 ½ bath main house feels larger than it is because we pulled the kids’ bedroom wing and master suite wing out from the public spaces and connected all three with a TV Den. Convenient ranch house features include a porte cochere at the side entrance to the mud room, a utility/sewing room near the kitchen, and covered porches that wrap two sides of the pool terrace. We designed a separate icehouse to showcase the owner’s unique collection of Texas memorabilia. The building includes a guest suite and a comfortable porch overlooking the pool. The main house and icehouse utilize reclaimed wood siding, brick, stone, tie, tin, and timbers alongside appropriate new materials to add a feeling of age.

Country Hotel pool & spa repair and refurbishment. Movement in the soil caused the pool foundations to drop in one corner, resulting in severe cracking to the pool shell and constant water loss. The pool was repaired and upgraded with new pebble crete, coping and a brand new deck with the addition of 2 raised planter boxes that double as bench seating. Beautiful specimen Magnolia trees were selected for much needed shade due to their non invasive roots and minimal foliage dropping in the pool.
