The owner’s suite closet provides direct, and convenient, access to the laundry room. We love how the matte black Whirlpool washer and dryer along with the white oak cabinetry contrast the warm white and gray tones of the Cambria “Torquay” countertops. A fun feature of this laundry room is the LG Styler, installed and ready to fulfill your at-home dry cleaning needs!

Our clients wanted the ultimate modern farmhouse custom dream home. They found property in the Santa Rosa Valley with an existing house on 3 ½ acres. They could envision a new home with a pool, a barn, and a place to raise horses. JRP and the clients went all in, sparing no expense. Thus, the old house was demolished and the couple’s dream home began to come to fruition. The result is a simple, contemporary layout with ample light thanks to the open floor plan. When it comes to a modern farmhouse aesthetic, it’s all about neutral hues, wood accents, and furniture with clean lines. Every room is thoughtfully crafted with its own personality. Yet still reflects a bit of that farmhouse charm. Their considerable-sized kitchen is a union of rustic warmth and industrial simplicity. The all-white shaker cabinetry and subway backsplash light up the room. All white everything complimented by warm wood flooring and matte black fixtures. The stunning custom Raw Urth reclaimed steel hood is also a star focal point in this gorgeous space. Not to mention the wet bar area with its unique open shelves above not one, but two integrated wine chillers. It’s also thoughtfully positioned next to the large pantry with a farmhouse style staple: a sliding barn door. The master bathroom is relaxation at its finest. Monochromatic colors and a pop of pattern on the floor lend a fashionable look to this private retreat. Matte black finishes stand out against a stark white backsplash, complement charcoal veins in the marble looking countertop, and is cohesive with the entire look. In planning the design we used many existing home features in different ways throughout the home. Shiplap, while currently trendy, was a part of the original home so we saved portions of it to reuse in the new section to marry the old and new. We also reused several phone nooks in various areas, such as near the master bathtub. One of the priorities in planning the design was also to provide family friendly spaces for the young growing family. While neutrals were used throughout we used texture and blues to create flow from the front of the home all the way to the back.

This kitchen used an in-frame design with mainly one painted colour, that being the Farrow & Ball Old White. This was accented with natural oak on the island unit pillars and on the bespoke cooker hood canopy. The Island unit features slide away tray storage on one side with tongue and grove panelling most of the way round. All of the Cupboard internals in this kitchen where clad in a Birch veneer. The main Focus of the kitchen was a Mercury Range Cooker in Blueberry. Above the Mercury cooker was a bespoke hood canopy designed to be at the correct height in a very low ceiling room. The sink and tap where from Franke, the sink being a VBK 720 twin bowl ceramic sink and a Franke Venician tap in chrome. The whole kitchen was topped of in a beautiful granite called Ivory Fantasy in a 30mm thickness with pencil round edge profile.

This laundry rom has a vintage farmhouse sink that was originally here at this house before the remodel. Open shelving for all the decor. Ceramic mosaic subway tiles as backsplash, leathered black quartz countertops, and gray shaker cabinets.

This compact dual purpose laundry mudroom is the point of entry for a busy family of four. One side provides laundry facilities including a deep laundry sink, dry rack, a folding surface and storage. The other side of the room has the home's electrical panel and a boot bench complete with shoe cubbies, hooks and a bench. The flooring is rubber.

Laundry room's are one of the most utilized spaces in the home so it's paramount that the design is not only functional but characteristic of the client. To continue with the rustic farmhouse aesthetic, we wanted to give our client the ability to walk into their laundry room and be happy about being in it. Custom laminate cabinetry in a sage colored green pairs with the green and white landscape scene wallpaper on the ceiling. To add more texture, white square porcelain tiles are on the sink wall, while small bead board painted green to match the cabinetry is on the other walls. The large sink provides ample space to wash almost anything and the brick flooring is a perfect touch of utilitarian that the client desired.
