While the majority of APD designs are created to meet the specific and unique needs of the client, this whole home remodel was completed in partnership with Black Sheep Construction as a high end house flip. From space planning to cabinet design, finishes to fixtures, appliances to plumbing, cabinet finish to hardware, paint to stone, siding to roofing; Amy created a design plan within the contractor’s remodel budget focusing on the details that would be important to the future home owner. What was a single story house that had fallen out of repair became a stunning Pacific Northwest modern lodge nestled in the woods!

Kitchen renovation featured on HGTV 's House Hunters Renovation "Type A Reno". The original kitchen had an angled wall where the pantry currently is and that made it difficult to maximize storage. We had the pantry section custom made to fit the angle of the wall and it houses double the storage that the original upper section used to. The finishes are classic with modern touches throughout such as the overscaled pendant lights over the island and the full wall of mosaic backsplash. White kitchens will always be a popular choice and you can go wrong if you stick with classics. Shaker cabinet door with a added door detail, so it's not your typical Shaker. The island was custom made with raised panel details and a gray wash stain. We mixed gold and black hardware to add character to the space.

Beautiful, recently remodeled blue and white farmhouse kitchen in Winter Park, Florida. The cabinets are Omega, Renner style - Blue Lagoon on the island and Pearl on the perimeter. The countertops and backsplash are Cambria Delgatie and Gold. The range is La Cornue CornuFe 110 in Provence Blue. Frigidaire refrigerator.

Set within one of Mercer Island’s many embankments is an RW Anderson Homes new build that is breathtaking. Our clients set their eyes on this property and saw the potential despite the overgrown landscape, steep and narrow gravel driveway, and the small 1950’s era home. To not forget the true roots of this property, you’ll find some of the wood salvaged from the original home incorporated into this dreamy modern farmhouse. Building this beauty went through many trials and tribulations, no doubt. From breaking ground in the middle of winter to delays out of our control, it seemed like there was no end in sight at times. But when this project finally came to fruition - boy, was it worth it! The design of this home was based on a lot of input from our clients - a busy family of five with a vision for their dream house. Hardwoods throughout, familiar paint colors from their old home, marble countertops, and an open concept floor plan were among some of the things on their shortlist. Three stories, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, one large laundry room, a mudroom, office, entryway, and an expansive great room make up this magnificent residence. No detail went unnoticed, from the custom deck railing to the elements making up the fireplace surround. Full depth utensil dividers were incorporated into the drawers immediately under the Wolf Cooktops. It's a great spot to store cooking utensils to keep them off the counter.

This coastal home is located in Carlsbad, California! With some remodeling and vision this home was transformed into a peaceful retreat. The remodel features an open concept floor plan with the living room flowing into the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is made gorgeous by its custom cabinetry with a flush mount ceiling vent. We created an exquisite kitchen that would be any chef's dream with a coffee beverage bar and large walk in pantry where there was no pantry before. This specular home has vaulted ceiling in the family room and now that we have removed all the walls surround the kitchen you will be able to advantage of the amazing mountain views. The central island completes the kitchen space beautifully, adding seating for friends and family to join the chef, plus more countertop space, sink and under counter storage, leaving no detail overlooked. The perimeter of the kitchen has leathered granite countertops and Stone backsplashes create such a unique look and bring a level of warmth to a kitchen. The Material Mix really brings the natural elements together in this home remodel.
