This blue and white kitchen simply POPS! This narrow galley kitchen had pretty good placement of its appliances originally, except for the double ovens. (see before picture). We had to move those down, so when in use you weren't 1-blocking the door way and 2-dangerously close to the cook top. We also wanted to give these new homeowner more countertop space for prep, and a place for them to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a place for the kids to do homework while mom & dad worked on dinner. HOMEREDI did an amazing job bringing our design to fruition. I just love the gold fixtures the homeowner selected for the final touches. The gold looks amazing against our blue cabinetry. The combo just screams luxury, doesn't it?

A large family kitchen which flows perfectly into the new orangery. Designed using a variety of tactile surfaces including stone and wood. With a 3.5 metres long central island with unusual curved steps between the surfaces, it defines the space and is practical for incorporating storage, food preparation areas and is a wonderful focus for gathering people. There is also a walk in larder with marble surfaces for appliances and food storage.

Classic British Kitchen in Mannings Heath, West Sussex Denim blue furniture, sparkling work surfaces and high-tech appliances combine for this contract project The Brief This project was tasked to our contracts team, who were challenged to create a vast kitchen design to suit the requirements of this three-plot barn conversion near to Mannings Heath. With the plot sold, the client sought to make a few theme changes to suit their own personal style. A country-style theme was implemented, and the layout was adjusted to fit other requirements. Design Elements The design fits the country style required by the client, utilising denim blue furniture from our British supplier Mereway. White accents feature in the form of Blanco Orion quartz surfaces and a white metro tiles splashback. The layout is comprised of a long run across the back wall, with a sizeable island space situated in front. A pantry features at the end of the space, with matching furniture choices. Special Inclusions High-calibre appliances were specified from the outset, with German manufacturer Siemens the preferred choice. A single oven and combination oven have been utilised as well as an integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher. A high-tech venting hob from Elica features in the long run, which combines two appliances and removes the need for a traditional extractor hood. For convenience, a double under-mounted sink features as well as integrated waste bins. Undercabinet lighting is fitted beneath wall units which adds a nice ambience in the evening time. Project Highlight The matching utility is a nice feature of this property, which has been designed to match the rest of the kitchen. Wood effect surfaces have been used to add to the country theme. The End Result The end result is a lovely country-style theme, with contemporary elements to suit the property and the style required by this client. This project was undertaken by our contract kitchen team. For this project, the homeowner wanted the main living spaces to be open and flow easily from one room to another. We expanded the kitchen to include more cabinetry and larger work spaces with greater accessibility to both. By removing an odd half-wall between the kitchen and living room, converting an out-of-place wet bar in the entry into a closet, installing new windows for better natural light, and reconstructing the main entry archway, we helped turn this otherwise dark and closed-off space into an expansive, light-filled place of ease.

AFTER: Gorgeous Indigo Blue Mouser Cabinetry with crisp white cabinets above. We pushed the back wall out about 8 feet to create a cozy nook, a door to the deck beyond and and new mudroom/laundry room. With the extended space, we could re-arrange the kitchen functions and add plenty of needed storage.
