This Modern Farmhouse Style kitchen was inspired by a lo collaboration with some lovely clients. We worked together to create a lively new space that capitalized on natural lighting and bright finishes to foster a room fit for cooking and entertaining.

The island was designed to feel like furniture in this compact, narrow space. 2 stools for enjoying a coffee while looking out the sink window. Upper cabinets and wall paint were done in a creamy white paint to lighten the space. Rustic wood cabinets create texture and a connection to nature. Craftsman hardware and a black hood modernize this bungalow while natural colored ceramics like the backsplash tile and pendant lights bring the boho vibe. Adornments are all plants in this Biophilic design.

We are loving this total kitchen makeover! This homeowner wanted a bright kitchen but wasn't afraid to use a pop of color with these green kitchen cabinets.

Designed and built by The Catskill Farms, this brand-new, modern farmhouse boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1,550 square feet of coziness. Modern interior finishes, a statement staircase and large windows. A finished, walk-out, lower level adds an additional bedroom and bathroom, as well as an expansive family room.

It’s always a blessing when your clients become friends - and that’s exactly what blossomed out of this two-phase remodel (along with three transformed spaces!). These clients were such a joy to work with and made what, at times, was a challenging job feel seamless. This project consisted of two phases, the first being a reconfiguration and update of their master bathroom, guest bathroom, and hallway closets, and the second a kitchen remodel. In keeping with the style of the home, we decided to run with what we called “traditional with farmhouse charm” – warm wood tones, cement tile, traditional patterns, and you can’t forget the pops of color! The master bathroom airs on the masculine side with a mostly black, white, and wood color palette, while the powder room is very feminine with pastel colors. When the bathroom projects were wrapped, it didn’t take long before we moved on to the kitchen. The kitchen already had a nice flow, so we didn’t need to move any plumbing or appliances. Instead, we just gave it the facelift it deserved! We wanted to continue the farmhouse charm and landed on a gorgeous terracotta and ceramic hand-painted tile for the backsplash, concrete look-alike quartz countertops, and two-toned cabinets while keeping the existing hardwood floors. We also removed some upper cabinets that blocked the view from the kitchen into the dining and living room area, resulting in a coveted open concept floor plan. Our clients have always loved to entertain, but now with the remodel complete, they are hosting more than ever, enjoying every second they have in their home. --- Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. The bright white cabinetry in this custom modern farmhouse kitchen is made from alder wood and finished in Dover White. In the center is a large island with a prep sink stained with a medium wood tone, buckskin, which is mirrored by the floating shelves flanking the shiplapped range hood. The countertops are Silestone Quartz in Pearl Jasmine, and the backsplash is Annie Selke Artisinal White Ceramic tile with a hand-style crackle finish. Throughout the kitchen and great room, the fixtures for the bar, prep sink, and main sink are finidhed in a sleek matte black. The kitchen also features Thermador stainless steel appliances.
