The modest three bedroom brick home will be renovated and a substantial extension added. The footprint of the extension re-aligns to face the beautiful landscape of the western valley and dam. The new living and dining rooms open onto an entertaining terrace. The distinct roof form of valleys and ridges relate in level to the existing roof for continuation of scale. The new roof cantilevers beyond the extension walls creating emphasis and direction towards the natural views.

We painted the library's paneled walls in an unforgettable glossy peacock blue that sets off the client’s existing artwork. We also added a new velvet sofa and textured cocktail table, which rest atop layered rugs that mix tailored, woven wool with white, Australian long sheepskin. TV viewing family room by Michael Molesky Interior Design. Deep brick red wall color is warm and inviting. Soft corduroy and mohair upholstery fabrics. Leather button tufted oversized ottoman. Green accent color in both the silk curtains and bookshelf backs.

We painted the library's existing paneling in a vivid peacock blue, and used the client's existing art on the walls. A new sofa and coffee table is paired with the client's armchair and footrest, which we recovered. A white Australian sheepskin rug covers a tailored woven-wool carpet.
