Arnold Brothers Construction, Inc.
This home is the fifth residence completed by Arnold Brothers. Set on an approximately 8,417 square foot site in historic San Roque, this home has been extensively expanded, updated and remodeled. The inspiration for the newly designed home was the cottages at the San Ysidro Ranch. Combining the romance of a bygone era with the quality and attention to detail of a five-star resort, this “casita” is a blend of rustic charm with casual elegance.

Over the last 3 years, this beautiful, center entrance colonial located in Norfolk, MA underwent a remarkable exterior remodel where we replaced the windows, and did exterior painting, carpentry, and an exterior door. An option many homeowners don’t consider is breaking up their project over time!
This project was staged in 5 portions where we addressed the following:
In 2019, we started by replacing 24 windows using Marvin Essential windows. They chose the popular, Ebony-colored exterior color frames and white exterior.
Later in 2019, they decided to replace additional windows.
In 2020, we replaced the remaining 13 windows with matching Marvin Essential windows and an entry door replacement and they chose a beautiful Provia Fiberglass French Door.
In 2020, the entire home is painted white with Sherwin Williams Resilience.
Built in 1988, this beautiful home in Norfolk, MA had older wooden clapboards and the homeowners were tired of the worn-out siding and wanted to give their home a facelift. With a modern farmhouse-like appeal, they chose a beautiful paint white colorway from Sherwin Williams and the black Ebony-colored windows from Marvin’s Essential line of black fiberglass windows.
For the homeowners, they were ready for a complete home makeover and they began carefully vetting who could make their house aspirations come to reality. Though humble in nature, these homeowners were going for the gold standard in remodeling their home and chose the best of the best products and the best company to do it.

This harbor-side property is a conceived as a modern, shingle-style lodge. The four-bedroom house comprises two pavilions connected by a bridge that creates an entrance which frames views of Sag Harbor Bay.
The interior layout has been carefully zoned to reflect the family's needs. The great room creates the home’s social core combining kitchen, living and dining spaces that give onto the expansive terrace and pool beyond. A more private, wood-paneled rustic den is housed in the adjoining wing beneath the master bedroom suite.

The rear view of this historic restoration project of a wood roof on this 17th-century Elizabethan-style residence in Middletown, CT. Built in 1686 by Daniel Harris for his son Samuel, this house was renovated in early 1700 to add the shed section beginning just below the chimney, providing the illusion of a traditional Saltbox house. We specified and installed Western Red cedar from Anbrook Industries, British Columbia.

The W7 series of windows and doors were selected in this project both for the high performance of the products, the beauty of natural wood interiors, and the durability of aluminum-clad exteriors. The stunning clear-stained pine windows make use of concealed hinges, which not only deliver a clean aesthetic but provide continuous gaskets around the sash helping to create a better seal against the weather outside. The robust hardware is paired with stainless steel premium handles to ensure smooth operation and timeless style for years to come.

Situated on a heavily wooded site at the edge of the Housatonic river, this 3,000 square foot house is conceived as a fragment of a New England village. While each room is connected to the rest of the house through interior hallways, the house appears from the outside to be a cluster of small buildings. Clad in weathered wood, the house seems to emerge naturally from the landscape.
Shaded by a simple cedar pergola, a path runs along the front of the house, connecting the garage to the entry. A second pergola defines the edge of a formal parterre garden, creating a courtyard that seems to have been carved from the surrounding forest. Through the woods it is possible to catch glimpses of the river below.
