The bubble chair is a favourite with guests, children and adults alike! With soft warm lighting illuminating the hand painted blossom, it truly is a lovely spot to curl up in.

A new home can be beautiful, yet lack soul. For a family with exquisite taste, and a love of the artisan and bespoke, LiLu created a layered palette of furnishings that express each family member’s personality and values. One child, who loves Jackson Pollock, received a window seat from which to enjoy the ceiling’s lively splatter wallpaper. The other child, a young gentleman, has a navy tweed upholstered headboard and plaid club chair with leather ottoman. Elsewhere, sustainably sourced items have provenance and meaning, including a LiLu-designed powder-room vanity with marble top, a Dunes and Duchess table, Italian drapery with beautiful trimmings, Galbraith & Panel wallcoverings, and a bubble table. We wanted to create a warm and inviting entrance just outside of the condo's front door. Our goal was to let neighbors and visitors know what to expect before walking through the front door. Clean, neutral, pale shades accentuate this light and airy classic style entrance hallway. The timeless antique console table is the main feature of this hallway. It is gently offset by traditional accessories such as the mirror and lighting centrepiece.

玄関土間には薪ストーブが置かれ、寒い時のメイン暖房です。床や壁への蓄熱と吹き抜けから2階への暖気の移動とダクトファンによる2階から床下への暖気移動による床下蓄熱などで、均一な熱環境を行えるようにしています。

以前の玄関は物に溢れ返り散漫な状態だったので、整理して簡潔な空間に改造しました。また土間床レベル全体を嵩上げすることで土間から１階床面への上り下りを容易にしました。土間には優しい色合いの天然石を敷き詰め目地幅を大きく取って骨太のデザインとしました。照明は小梁と小梁の間を光天井とした間接照明とし式台下部にも間接照明を仕込みました。
