I worked with CAD Development to select the cabinetry and stone/tile for this lovely new construction home in Westchester County. I was then hired by the homeowners to decorate the interiors, It was a great job from start to finish! ND Interiors is a full-service interior design studio based in Westchester County, New York. The goal for this entire home was to design everything in black & white and keep each room interesting, well design, sophisticated and most of all, timeless. A great entryway sets the tone for the rest of your home and prepares you for what’s next. I designed this entryway to be tasteful well design but bold and dramatic to keep you interested. I wanted everyone that entered this house to start thinking in their mind “I want to see more!” The lighting and artwork I picked out were all out of my clients’ comfort zone, but they trusted me enough to go with my design. A foyer is usually the first impression of the interior within a home. Often it is regarded as the last item on the to-do list of home renovations, but this particular foyer is the jumping off point that sets the tone of the loft and its owners. Assorted floor tile demonstrates an appreciation for pattern, vintage doors reflects respect towards history and up cycling and handmade lighting, bench and artwork present admiration towards artistic craft.
