Before we started the design on this custom home, the client met with Barefoot Contessa's Ina Garten and brought us back a long list of needs for their expansive kitchen. Photo by Emily Minton Redfield

The Kitchen of this home was flooded after we remodeled it 2 years ago, so we went back to work. Adjusting a few things the clients wish they had done last time. Adding a wine fridge, shrinking the island so there was no seam down the middle and changing the backsplash. The accent wall made of reclaimed teak was not damaged, so that was great news. Indoteak wood tiles, Eurostone and Caesarstone quartz counter tops, Walker Zanger backsplash.

This homeowner had a remarkable collection of vintage clocks that became the inspiration for her colorful backsplash. We added new countertops, undercabinet lighting and the backsplash tile to give the kitchen a sparkly upgrade. New sink and faucet. A really clever idea by my client. The wine cellar is accessed by door between fridge and freezer, then extends into the space behind them for extra racking. The doors above the combi microwave are in dichroic glass like those of the dresser
