This little kitchen wasn’t functioning at its best and quickly became the biggest undertaking of this remodel. The original brick wall had not fared well over the years, and was in need of some serious structural help, so rebuilding the back of the house became our first order of business, but this let us increase the size of the windows and flood the kitchen with all that gorgeous northern light. We reimagined the layout of the kitchen to bring in some much-needed functionality, and we were even able to tuck in a beverage center. Aesthetically, we wanted the kitchen to feel bright and open, even as we utilized every square inch of storage we could get, so we selected a crisp light blue for the walls, white cabinets, and white tile for the backsplash. But we were dead set against this kitchen becoming a space that didn’t drip with charm, so we brough it handmade star and cross tiles on the backsplash (with a little pop to the beverage area tile with a hand painted design), a marble look quartz counter top, and touches of black and brass for a little glitz. We also carried the wood flooring from the rest of the home into the kitchen and designed a custom steel and wood island to bring warmth into this space. The laundry room & pantry were also updated to include lovely built-in storage and tie in with the finishes in the kitchen.

This remodel transformed a dark and tiny kitchen into a bright and fresh space with lots of function and working surface. This client's space was inherently tiny, and budget didn't quite allow for expansion. So, we had to make the most of what we had! In working with the existing footprint, we were able to introduce taller cabinetry, integrate convenient storage features in base cabinets, and install a massive countertop that provides substantial hosting and prepping surface from three sides. With an exceptionally pretty backsplash and a fun pop of color in the bar stools, this kitchen brings home a fresh transitional look that carries simplicity and convenience throughout.

The old galley kitchen is gone! By removing the wall we were able to create an open floor plan and get a peninsula with eating space. There is a pantry, slide out appliance cabinet with power, and on the back side is another cabinet on the living room side.

Airbnb guests love to see clean kitchens! We created a simple, streamlined kitchenette along one wall with new stainless-steel appliances and upcycled cabinetry and granite countertops for the perfect home away from home. The cream colored backsplash is composed of handmade tile and is super-easy to clean. A freestanding kitchen island with a butcher-block top provides another handy prep area.

We recently took on an exciting whole-home renovation for this lovely historic Trinity in Center City Philadelphia. Originally built in the mid-1800s, the house footprint is just over 17’ x 13’. As is typical of this type of 3-story house, the kitchen is located in the basement, making this house four floors of occupied space with overall square footage totaling just under 900 square feet. The homeowner felt the former kitchen was cramped, dimly lit, and inefficiently designed, and she was in search of help in bringing her artistic vision for the space to life, blending both old and new elements through an exciting mix of textures and character. High on her priority list was integrating her wonderful collection of objects gathered from her travels around the world. We brought our design skills and construction experience to the team, working with the homeowner and the designer to develop a host of creative solutions, including the installation of an Indonesian screen as a sliding door covering a newly reconfigured utility area, which includes a new on-demand hot water heater, mounted next to a new electrical panel with ample room for service and access. Основная задача при проектировании интерьера этой квартиры стояла следующая: сделать из изначально двухкомнатной квартиры комфортную трехкомнатную для семейной пары, учтя при этом все пожелания и «хотелки» заказчиков. Основными пожеланиями по перепланировке были: максимально увеличить санузел, сделать его совмещенным, с отдельно стоящей большой душевой кабиной. Сделать просторную удобную кухню, которая по изначальной планировке получилась совсем небольшая и совмещенную с ней гостиную. Хотелось большую гардеробную-кладовку и большой шкаф в прихожей.
