Unique kitchen layout with cabinetry in two different finishes. Cabinetry is Darby Maple by Kemper and finished in "Palomino" and "Heirloom Oasis". This kitchen features a large L-shpaed island with integrated bench seat.

The built ins needed to accommodate the homeowners storage needs but also needed to fit in the area between the stairwells. I adjusted the depths of the cabinets to get some additional storage and give some character to the unit. Every detail of this European villa-style home exudes a uniquely finished feel. Our design goals were to invoke a sense of travel while simultaneously cultivating a homely and inviting ambience. This project reflects our commitment to crafting spaces seamlessly blending luxury with functionality. The kitchen was transformed with subtle adjustments to evoke a Parisian café atmosphere. A new island was crafted, featuring exquisite quartzite countertops complemented by a marble mosaic backsplash. Upgrades in plumbing and lighting fixtures were installed, imparting a touch of elegance. In the kitchen, we left the original cabinetry but with some modifications. The lower cabinets has some damage and discoloration, so we had them refaced with this very cool and durable red film - we even refaced the dishwasher. It gives a level of uniqueness to an otherwise standard level of finishes and makes this condo unit certainly stand out from the rest. Storage is key for an otherwise open plan - so we added the custom red cabinet which also cleverly conceals the electrical panel for the unit. Chris Haver Photography

This amazing renovation focused on solving a series of problems that a previous kitchen expansion had created. By rearranging the appliance placement, updating the cabinetry, designing all new storage solutions and maximizing the amazing outdoor views; we cured the spit personality disorder plaguing the existing kitchen. The home now has a beautifully redesigned kitchen and living space perfect for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the outside views. Vaulted ceilings with bright skylights, reflective glass wall tiles, sleek sophisticated Cambria quartz counter tops, fingerprint-free faucet, multi-functional Prolific kitchen sink by Kohler, stainless steel appliances, creative storage solutions, all new lighting and timeless shaker cabinets by Wellborn lend to the now bright, open, vivacious and flawless function of this newly renovated galley style kitchen. White base cabinets along the outside walls contrast perfectly with the dark grey island cabinets. Linear satin nickel door and drawer pulls coordinate with the stainless steel appliances and sink. An eclectic blend of vintage and modern furnishings, artwork and rugs create a comfortable balance that feels and looks timeless. Breathtaking backyard views are artfully framed by new Pella windows and doors with integral blinds between the glass. These clients had family antiques that were very precious to them and at the same time loved very contemporary design. We created a balance of the two by including elements from both aesthetics and using bright white to freshen the overall look.

You wouldn't believe this was the same space if you had seen the 'before'. We opened an interior wall, and reconfigured the space to maximize both cooking function and family gathering. Cabinetry is Alder with a natural finish. Floors are finish-in-place Hickory (solid) with a light/medium stain. Counter tops are granite. This is just one part of this whole-house renovation. The interior was stripped to bare framing with all new electrical, plumbing, mechanical and then all the finishes as well.
