Vintage gold artwork and a modern gold wall sconce work together to add some refined bling to this organic maximalist 'Rainbow Poppy Meadow' wallpaper by Rebel Walls. Also featured here is a tall white Wayfair cabinet to help with office storage. The vertical height is always welcome in a small space and the space below the cabinet is great for even more storage if needed. The cane feature on the cabinet was received with the original wood, but we added some of the white-wash paint used in the upcycled chairs, to slightly tone down the yellow in the natural wood fibers and allow it blend a bit more cohesively with the office guest chairs (not shown here, but across the room).

Black walls set off the room's cream furnishings and gold accents. Touches of pink add personality; the pink ceiling medallion adds emphasis to the elegant chandelier. Highlighting the tall windows, black painted frames add graphic interest against the cream sills. Drapery emphasizes the ceiling height while absorbing sound and adding warmth. A huge custom rug unifies the seating and working areas and further contributes to the hushed atmosphere. In order for this room to feel more like a retreat and less like an office, we used regular furniture pieces in non-standard ways. The client’s heirloom dining table serves as a writing table. A pair of brass and glass consoles holds printer, stationery, and files as well as decorative items. A cream lacquered linen sideboard provides additional storage. A pair of cushy swivel chairs serves multiple functions – facing a loveseat and bench to create a cozy seating area, facing each other for intimate discussions, and facing the desk for more standard business meetings.

The juxtaposition of soft texture and feminine details against hard metal and concrete finishes. Elements of floral wallpaper, paper lanterns, and abstract art blend together to create a sense of warmth. Soaring ceilings are anchored by thoughtfully curated and well placed furniture pieces. The perfect home for two.

This industrial condo in Roger's Park got a complete overhaul. The layout remained while all finishes, flooring and furniture were upgraded. The tall ceilings and large windows are the focal point of the space and so we kept it light and bright, while mixing textures and finishes to create interest. The client's own eclectic art and object collections pair perfectly with the pops of color in the furniture and accessories. The hand glazed kitchen backsplash tile is the perfect contrast to the white, wood and stainless steel and nods to the changing colors of the lake view across.

This home office features a blue and orange patterned sofa, and a colorful patterned area rug. The colorful bird wallpaper contrasts with the simple built-in desk and office chair.

This eclectic office for two focuses on creating a functional space that creates that wow moment every home needs. when transforming this empty builder-grade room into a home office, we prioritized storage and usability to maximize the available space. A bold and colorful wallpaper was selected to bring the office to life and contrast against the crisp white custom built-in desk and cabinets.

This 6,000sf luxurious custom new construction 5-bedroom, 4-bath home combines elements of open-concept design with traditional, formal spaces, as well. Tall windows, large openings to the back yard, and clear views from room to room are abundant throughout. The 2-story entry boasts a gently curving stair, and a full view through openings to the glass-clad family room. The back stair is continuous from the basement to the finished 3rd floor / attic recreation room. The interior is finished with the finest materials and detailing, with crown molding, coffered, tray and barrel vault ceilings, chair rail, arched openings, rounded corners, built-in niches and coves, wide halls, and 12' first floor ceilings with 10' second floor ceilings. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a wooded neighborhood, surrounded by old growth trees. The homeowners, who hail from Texas, believe that bigger is better, and this house was built to match their dreams. The brick - with stone and cast concrete accent elements - runs the full 3-stories of the home, on all sides. A paver driveway and covered patio are included, along with paver retaining wall carved into the hill, creating a secluded back yard play space for their young children. This upcycled HON industrial-like filing cabinet was upcycled with the use of a trendy vinyl wallpaper application and gold sprayed handles. Added to this, is an upcycled onyx countertop that was originally a 1970s coffee table top. Also upcycled is the gold square picture frame which was originally host to a brown border and '80s art. The new checkered-like art was sourced through Minted and supporting a west coast artist through this purchase. The gold narrow vase from LH Imports is host to a faux flower arrangement, adding a touch of greenery to the vignette, while also allowing countertop space for files or items to temporarily sit.
