When old meets new! Our clients wanted to utilize the table from their previous home so we sourced a new sideboard and statement chairs. This glamorous space shows off this family's personality and their love for peacocks!

Architecture and interior design firm Easton Design Office did a beautiful job working on the full refurbishment and structural alterations to this family home in Highgate. A bright, welcoming dining and kitchen area, the perfect space for entertaining guests or hosting the family parties. Settled right at home above the dining table hangs our Large Cream 1933 Design lampshades paired with the brass suspension sets. Elegant and poised, this neutral pendant set reflects light across the room while staying consistent with the accent brass feature, spotted in fixings throughout the space.

A pair of brass swing arm wall sconces are mounted over custom built-in cabinets and stacked oak floating shelves. The texture and sheen of the square, hand-made, Zellige tile backsplash provides visual interest and design style while large windows offer spectacular views of the property creating an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for dining and entertaining.

The Kelso's Dining Room is a charming and inviting space designed for family gatherings and entertaining guests. The black farmhouse dining light fixture hangs gracefully from the ceiling, creating a focal point and adding a touch of rustic elegance. The black windows provide a striking contrast against the light-colored elements in the room. The ceiling beams add architectural interest and contribute to the farmhouse aesthetic. The farmhouse dining table serves as the centerpiece, offering ample seating for family and friends. A truly special property located in a sought after Toronto neighbourhood, this large family home renovation sought to retain the charm and history of the house in a contemporary way. The full scale underpin and large rear addition served to bring in natural light and expand the possibilities of the spaces. A vaulted third floor contains the master bedroom and bathroom with a cozy library/lounge that walks out to the third floor deck - revealing views of the downtown skyline. A soft inviting palate permeates the home but is juxtaposed with punches of colour, pattern and texture. The interior design playfully combines original parts of the home with vintage elements as well as glass and steel and millwork to divide spaces for working, relaxing and entertaining. An enormous sliding glass door opens the main floor to the sprawling rear deck and pool/hot tub area seamlessly. Across the lawn - the garage clad with reclaimed barnboard from the old structure has been newly build and fully rough-in for a potential future laneway house.
