Photographs by Doreen Kilfeather appeared in Image Interiors Magazine, July/August 2016 These photographs convey a sense of the beautiful lakeside location of the property, as well as the comprehensive refurbishment to update the midcentury cottage. The cottage, which won the RTÉ television programme Home of the Year is a tranquil home for interior designer Egon Walesch and his partner in county Westmeath, Ireland. Walls throughout are painted Farrow & Ball Cornforth White. Doors, skirting, window frames, beams painted in Farrow & Ball Strong White. Floors treated with Woca White Oil. Bespoke kitchen by Jim Kelly in Farrow & Ball Downpipe. Vintage Louis Poulsen pendant lamps above Ercol table and Eames DSR chairs. Vintage rug from Morocco.

Nous avons décloisonné les pièces, redonnant du lien entre la cuisine et la salle à manger grace à la création d'une verrière sur mesure. Nous avons créé un petit espace bureau, séparé par une bibliothèque sur mesure. Nous avons délimité l'espace TV grâce à une tête de canapé sur mesure. Nous avons rénové les sols, la plomberie et l'électricité. Un bleu clair permet d'harmoniser la décoration de toute la pièce.

The dining room off the kitchen incorporates an antique dining set the homeowners acquired a number of years ago. We replicated 1 chair to make a set of 6 since there had only been 5 chairs originally.

Квартира проектировалась для семьи с 6-летним ребенком, к которым часто приезжают гости. Стояла задача рационально использовать пространство двух уровней. Клиент обратился к нам, когда у него на руках было 8 вариантов планировочных решений от 3 дизайнеров. Однако в них не был раскрыт возможный потенциал пространства и не решались задачи клиента. Основным решением, которое мы предложили, было разделить уровни квартиры на гостевую и приватную зону. В гостевой, где находится вход в квартиру, размещены прихожая, студия из гостиной, кухни и столовой, гостевая спальня и гостевой санузел с постирочной. В приватной зоне — спальня, гардеровная, детская и санузел. Проект наминирован на открытом всеросийском конкурсе INTERIA AWARDS

The finished living room at our Kensington apartment renovation. My client wanted a furnishing make-over, so there was no building work required in this stage of the project. We split the area into the Living room and Dining Room - we will post more images over the coming days.. We wanted to add a splash of colour to liven the space and we did this though accessories, cushions, artwork and the dining chairs. The space works really well and and we changed the bland original living room into a room full of energy and character.. The start of the process was to create floor plans, produce a CAD layout and specify all the furnishing. We designed two bespoke bookcases and created a large window seat hiding the radiators. We also installed a new fireplace which became a focal point at the far end of the room.. I hope you like the photos. We love getting comments from you, so please let me know your thoughts. I would like to say a special thank you to my client, who has been a pleasure to work with and has allowed me to photograph his apartment. We are looking forward to the next phase of this project, which involves extending the property and updating the bathrooms.

Sleek, stylish and minimalist clean lines all come to mind within the walls of this light and airy Victorian conversion. The kitchen sports stainless steel shark nosed worktops, two-tone grey matt lacquer units and contrasting oak shelving. The two-tiered worktop juxtaposes a steel surface with a white quartz breakfast bar at a 90 degree angle. The teal blue leather banquette, funky carpet cushions, splashy artwork and industrial vibe pendant lights give an edgy feel to the minimalist kitchen. The larder unit features pivot and slide pocket doors. Aside from the kitchen we supplied bespoke bench seating and shoe storage to the hall, contemporary floating alcove cupboards, bespoke glass fire doors and cabinetry throughout the bedrooms. Hogarth House has been given real personality in a sophisticatedly pared-back manner.

Beautiful Spanish tile details are present in almost every room of the home creating a unifying theme and warm atmosphere. Wood beamed ceilings converge between the living room, dining room, and kitchen to create an open great room. Arched windows and large sliding doors frame the amazing views of the ocean. Our clients wanted to refresh a dated dining room. The before boasted rust colored grasscloth, plantation shutters and brown/rust/olive color scheme. We wanted to give this space new life by adding white walls, millwork and some bright, fresh furnishings.
