I can't say enough good things about Sarah and her team. I first worked with her (nearly five years ago) on my apartment in Back Bay, and then a year later on my entire home in Wellesley. Every person who visits says my place looks like it belongs in a magazine! She has an amazing eye for color, concept, design and detail. She listens and understands my aesthetic and knows exactly what I will love. Last Summer I wanted a refresh on several throw pillows; she provided me with plenty of great options and they turned out beautifully. Then after working from home due to Covid, my couch cushions were looking a little worn and saggy and needed to be restuffed. Unfortunately, there was some unexpected damage to the fabric of one of the covers. Sarah and her team moved heaven and earth to remedy the situation as quickly as possible, and had both cushions completely remade (at no additional expense to me). Not only is Sarah exceptionally talented in her work, she is truly a lovely person. You will be fortunate to have her on your project!

I loved working with Henley Design! They were professional, communicative and always on top of things. Their attention to detail was one of the things that I enjoyed the most. They understood what I wanted and made it happen. I am beyond happy with their service. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed working with Sarah and Abbey. They helped us refresh our first floor living space into a space that we love. They were fun to work with, always came with good energy, and communicated well. They did a great job working with our home - a mix of older family pieces and newer pieces- and helped to create a more sophisticated, cleaner look that we love. Henley Designs made the design aspect of my renovation a breeze! As a new home owner, going through the process of a big renovation was daunting. Sarah and her team walked me through the process, helped me make some big decisions, and went above and beyond by interfacing directly with my contractor. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the result. I've worked with Henley Designs on 2 projects, and will definitely use them again for my third. 5 stars!

The Henley team is wonderful to work with. They conducted an intro call and walked through options for initial planning and came on site to kick off planning. They are flexible with budgets and very resourceful. I appreciated Abbey's attention to detail, working with our likes/dislikes, timeline, and budget (an excellent listener!). She has incredible vision and transformed a house into our happy home.

Sarah and Team were wonderful to work with during every step of the process! They were extremely efficient and put together an unbelievable aesthetic that fit our unconventional space perfectly. Despite challenges from supply chain constraints they followed through to make sure every item was delivered. A white-glove treatment through and through! We will definitely be using them on any future projects.

The Henley Design team has been incredible to work with. They helped us with two houses (our personal home and our vacation rental) and the results in both cases far exceeded our expectation. They are collaborative, creative, extremely easy to work with, and willing to scope projects in a way that works with your vision and budget. They also have a design style and overall aesthetic sensibilities that we absolutely love. For our Airbnb, guests consistently comment on the incredible style of our rental, all thanks to the Henley design team. In our own home, where we focused on a kitchen/dining room renovation, we feel so fortunate to have worked with them and we appreciate our home so much more as a result.

I worked with Henley Design on a renovation project for our Vermont mountain house. The project included an addition and reworking interior space as well as selecting new furniture, fixtures and rugs. Sarah Henley and her team were tasked with helping to design the main living space (great room + dining room) as well as paint colors and numerous other details throughout the house. What I really appreciated about Sarah and her team was continually looking for ways to tie the newer parts of the house in with the older/non-renovated parts. For example, a simple paint job on kitchen cabinets, new hardware and counter stools completely changed the feel of the kitchen--bringing it more in-line with the new furniture and design of the common areas. My husband and I had spent a year planning the renovation and so had a pretty good of what we wanted. But there were a lot of points along the way where we needed a design check-in on some of our decisions....just to make sure we were on point. Sarah and her team were always available and quick to assist--giving me peace of mind. And like so many things being done during Covid, there were more than a few hiccups. From light fixtures arriving dented to ordered furniture being discontinued and never arriving--Sarah and her team went above and beyond to make things right and at their own expense (actually covering the difference in cost when the replacement item was more expensive than original selection). All in all, I really enjoyed worked with Henley Design and would absolutely work with them again! I will update with pictures once the rest of our furniture arrives.

As a first time home owner and having never managed a renovation, I was initially skeptical about hiring a design firm fearing the additional time burden on me as well as incremental costs. At the recommendation of a friend, I spoke to Sarah. Simply put, Sarah and her team were AMAZING. We launched into this project during the pandemic with two jobs and two little kids. Henley Design took all the stress away managing everything from the contractor schedule to picking the lightbulbs. They were flexible to our budget, managed work remotely, and proactively followed up to ensure we were happy with the end results. We are over the moon with the results and love our home. Can't wait to take on other projects with Sarah and the team!

Henley design did a fantastic job helping us furnish and design the living room in our home. They were amazing partners and we are so happy with the results. We are currently working with them again on a separate project to redesign our master bedroom and bathrooms. Sarah and team have done a fantastic job suggesting pieces, wallpaper and paint that make our home a joy to live in.

Sarah and Abby are amazing! Not only did they completely understand my taste and style but they also suggested fabrics and prints that enhanced what I wanted to achieve. They have a great eye for how to leverage existing furniture and artwork with new pieces, and they created a warm, cohesive space that blended both. The Henley team was fantastic. Super flexible, insightful and thorough. We moved into our home in mid-June 2019 and it was SO helpful to have an understanding of our design upon move in. We (obviously) love the look and design they fostered but the true proof has been in the (many) compliments we've received from guests.

I adored working with Sarah. She really listened to what I was trying to accomplish with my living and dining rooms- offered creative ideas- brought me fun and interesting swatches- and worked within my budget. We recently moved into a new/larger home and had lots of rooms to furnish on a relatively limited budget. I needed a design firm that was willing to help us create an overall design scheme (layouts, mood boards, colors, etc) upfront, with the flexibility to "execute" on the plan in phases over time. Sarah was great from the first conversation and meeting, and has been a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process (as has Abbey, her assistant.) We're still ongoing in the process, but almost complete with both a living room and family room, and I'm so happy with how they've turned out. Their turnaround from initial consultation to first design meeting was only a couple of weeks, and the ideas they presented were beautiful! They gave many options for ways to customize the overall look and I also loved that they were able to work with existing pieces in our home. My husband has very different style preferences than I do, but Sarah & Abbey were able to make "his" pieces work in a way that blends beautifully with the new. Sarah & Abbey are incredibly professional, responsive, organized and nice and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

Sarah and the team at Henley Design are wonderful and will take any aesthetic and elevate it to another level. I used them for both large and small projects and everything came out great. They are able to take your aesthetic and guide you to choices that make your space look beautiful and upscale, but still unique and very "you." They are easy to reach and super friendly! We hired Sarah in the middle of an extensive gut renovation of our condo in a three unit building. We began working together in Mid 2017 after starting our project in late 2016. After we worked with an architect to finalize the floor plan, I found myself needing a professional to help guide and design a cohesive look for our 3 bedroom, 2.5bath 2,000 sq food unit. Sarah has an incredible eye, a deeply experienced point of view in working with a variety of materials and a fabulous personality. Sarah helped make selections that included: door and molding profiles, door hardware, tile, wall covering, wall colors, lighting, furnishings and went above and beyond in providing elevations for a more complex stair railing design. We are thrilled with the house and the gorgeous choices she made. While we still aren’t fully ready to shift into the next phase- more furnishings, layering in art and accessories- Sarah has created a stunning space for our family to call home. We can’t wait to have Sarah help us make the next round of choices.

I LOVE Henley Design. Sarah is a creative, smart, talented woman who transformed our 1.5 bedroom apartment into an oasis that my husband and I cherish coming home to every day. With subtle tones and low-profile furniture, we turned a relatively smaller space into something that is both functional and welcoming. Sarah was an absolute delight to work with. Although I never want to move out of our current apartment, Henley Design will certainly be our go-to interior design firm for our next home.

This was my first time using an interior designer for my home project and I could not have made a better choice. Sarah was instrumental in transforming our house from the frumpy style of the previous owners to a home that reflected our style and personality. Our house has some quirks and we were overwhelmed on how to set it up in the right way. From room layout, to color strategy, to finding good deals on furniture, rugs, and other things, Sarah does it all. She did a great job communicating and sharing ideas over email and Pinterest, but also came over in person to meet with us several times based on our schedules.
