Meghan is able to articulate my goals into reality while pushing me away from the predictable towards a more interesting and cohesive whole. She is also great about using pieces I already have and working with them instead of replacing everything. She presents a range of options, from "safe" to pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone, but always respects my input. She has helped design my living and dining rooms, using both existing and new items, designed an upstairs laundry room as well as my front entry hallway, and designed a basement guest/family room space. It is a pleasure to work with her.

Meghan was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would work with her again in a heartbeat. She was the ultimate professional, was incredible responsible and organized, and she designed an absolutely stunning home for us. She managed every part of the process, and it was such a gift for me to know that she had all of the logistics under control. She did an incredible job of working hard to understand my personal style and preferences, and then making suggestions that are very "me" but push me beyond my comfort zone (in a great way). Everyone who comes into our house remarks on how well it captures my essence, which I think is the ultimate testament to Meghan's skill.

This was our first time using an interior decorator and we are very happy to have found Meghan. We had purchased a new house and needed lots of help thinking about how to fill the space and make it feel like a home. After a detailed consultation, Meghan presented a very thorough and professional proposal. Communication and coordination was great throughout the process, and we are thrilled with the end result. Meghan also clearly has a great team of highly professional contractors to help implement her vision, for which we were very grateful. Highly recommended!

Meghan is as pleasant to work with as she is talented. I have worked with her twice now on both my business and then on a new living space we added in our home. The space came out drop dead gorgeous (as did my business) and she was so creative in the way she designed it for use as an office/guest room/gathering space for parties, while also taking into consideration that we have young kids and will not treat the room delicately. There was a back order of a fabric along the way that added over a month to our project, but she handled it with grace and she kept us in the loop on all of it and gave us options for how to proceed. I love how it all came out and all the finishing details she thought of, and now that the project is done I will miss working with her!!

Meghan has superb taste and an ability to understand our aesthetic. She consistently presented ideas that were in line with our taste but also stretched our ideas. There are many beautiful touches in our house of which we were initially skeptical, and now love and see how much they enhance the whole of the project. A couple of specific suggestions we rejected, and when I look at those, I realize Meghan's choice would have worked better! Having said that, she also accepted and supported some important choices we made and worked with those to make a cohesive whole. Meghan respected our wish to be involved in the decision-making and met us several times at tile and other stores, even though she would have worked more efficiently on her own, (and our process would have been less painful)! We appreciated Meghan's flexibility as other designers let us know they wanted complete control of the project. She was also conscious of cost. There were myriad decisions (baseboards, hardware, paint colors and combinations, lighting) that she made with ease and vision. Meghan is also warm, personable, and easy and fun to work with. I recommend her without reservation.

Meghan is wonderful. She designed our living room, dining room and basement family room. She truly listened to how we wanted our spaces to look and feel. As a parent herself she totally understood the function part, selecting fabrics and furnishings that allowed for play but still looked beautiful and put together. She’s a master of mixing materials for a layered and textured space. I feel like she maximized our budget, guiding us with where we should spend and where we could save. I couldn’t recommend her more.

Meghan is amazing and I am grateful for her creativity and ability to allow me to stay true to my design personality while creating a timeless yet new look. Meghan showed me designers that she felt channeled my ideas, which gave me the confidence that we were headed in the right direction. She put together fabric/furniture plans that needed minimal tweaking to get it just perfect. She suggested modern art and furniture that worked perfectly with our antiques, giving a fresh feel to the rooms. Through this project she created the perfect balance of welcoming comfort and sophistication, to a large new space, which is what I was hoping for. My husband and I could not be happier and our 4 sons are comfortable in every room!

I have been working with Meghan on several projects in our home. She is very talented and has made our house a home that we enjoy entertaining and spending time in. She has great vision and incorporated furniture we already had and created beautiful rooms. Her ideas are personalized and she never forgets the smallest details that make the room shine. Her knowledge with vendors and brands ensures that you are receiving high quality furniture, lights or even accessories. She's a delight to work with and we look forward to future projects together.

Meghan was so helpful to us when we were renovating our home. She helped pick styles and finishes that were timeless, cohesive and in line with what our final vision for the project was. Basically she helped make it go from paper form to real life where our family and friends could enjoy it everyday.

Meghan took our new condo in the south end of Boston and transformed it into a beautiful home. We needed help with not just design and layout but also with understanding how upgrades to the walls and fireplace would enhance the space. She was able to take our minimal input and create a stylish and comfortable place for our family. Her eye for detail is second to none. We can not recommend her enough!

I hired Meghan to decorate my living room, and I'm thrilled that I did! Meghan was so patient and accommodating with my need to visualize, and she worked tirelessly until she knew I understood the vision and was happy with it. Her talent is unbelievable. She pulled the room into something I never could have imagined with her use of color and textiles. My room is warm and functional, but also a true show piece thanks to her. I have been a client of Meghan Shadrick Interiors for almost 4 years. I originally hired Meghan to help me furnish 5 rooms with custom and semi custom curtains. I was so pleased I then hired her 2 years later to help with renovating 3 bathrooms in my house. She is so talented and helped me to design 3 different bathrooms that fit my style, but are current with the times. I have since consulted Meghan on reupholstering furniture and many other household updates. I plan on renovating my kitchen in the near future and will be using Meghan for that as well. What I really love about working with Meghan is that you can be as involved as you want! I enjoy working with her and have loved the final product of each project she has worked on for me in the past 4 years!!
