This custom built 2-story French Country style home is a beautiful retreat in the South Tampa area. The exterior of the home was designed to strike a subtle balance of stucco and stone, brought together by a neutral color palette with contrasting rust-colored garage doors and shutters. To further emphasize the European influence on the design, unique elements like the curved roof above the main entry and the castle tower that houses the octagonal shaped master walk-in shower jutting out from the main structure. Additionally, the entire exterior form of the home is lined with authentic gas-lit sconces. The rear of the home features a putting green, pool deck, outdoor kitchen with retractable screen, and rain chains to speak to the country aesthetic of the home. Inside, you are met with a two-story living room with full length retractable sliding glass doors that open to the outdoor kitchen and pool deck. A large salt aquarium built into the millwork panel system visually connects the media room and living room. The media room is highlighted by the large stone wall feature, and includes a full wet bar with a unique farmhouse style bar sink and custom rustic barn door in the French Country style. The country theme continues in the kitchen with another larger farmhouse sink, cabinet detailing, and concealed exhaust hood. This is complemented by painted coffered ceilings with multi-level detailed crown wood trim. The rustic subway tile backsplash is accented with subtle gray tile, turned at a 45 degree angle to create interest. Large candle-style fixtures connect the exterior sconces to the interior details. A concealed pantry is accessed through hidden panels that match the cabinetry. The home also features a large master suite with a raised plank wood ceiling feature, and additional spacious guest suites. Each bathroom in the home has its own character, while still communicating with the overall style of the home.

This remodel was for a family that purchased a new home and just moved from Denver. They wanted a traditional design with a few hints of contemporary and an open feel concept with the adjoining rooms. We removed the walls surrounding the kitchen to achieve the openness of the space but needed to keep the support so we installed an exposed wooden beam. This brought in a traditional feature as well as using a reclaimed piece of wood for the brick fireplace mantel. The kitchen cabinets are the classic, white style with mesh upper cabinet insets. To further bring in the traditional look, we have a white farmhouse sink, installed white, subway tile, butcherblock countertop for the island and glass island electrical fixtures but offset it with stainless steel appliances and a quartz countertop. In the adjoining bonus room, we framed the entryway and windows with a square, white trim, which adds to the contemporary aspect. And for a fun touch, the clients wanted a little bar area and a kegerator installed. We kept the more contemporary theme with the stainless steel color and a white quartz countertop. Scalamandre floral linen drapery fabric adds elegance and pops of color. Grass cloth wallpaper provides interesting texture and a suitable backdrop for the Client's original art.

THE COMPLETE RENOVATION OF A LARGE DETACHED FAMILY HOME This project was a labour of love from start to finish and we think it shows. We worked closely with the architect and contractor to create the interiors of this stunning house in Richmond, West London. The existing house was just crying out for a new lease of life, it was so incredibly tired and dated. An interior designer’s dream. A new rear extension was designed to house the vast kitchen diner. Below that in the basement – a cinema, games room and bar. In addition, the drawing room, entrance hall, stairwell master bedroom and en-suite also came under our remit. We took all these areas on plan and articulated our concepts to the client in 3D. Then we implemented the whole thing for them. So Timothy James Interiors were responsible for curating or custom-designing everything you see in these photos OUR FULL INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE INCLUDING PROJECT COORDINATION AND IMPLEMENTATION Our brief for this interior design project was to create a ‘private members club feel’. Precedents included Soho House and Firmdale Hotels. This is very much our niche so it’s little wonder we were appointed. Cosy but luxurious interiors with eye-catching artwork, bright fabrics and eclectic furnishings. The scope of services for this project included both the interior design and the interior architecture. This included lighting plan , kitchen and bathroom designs, bespoke joinery drawings and a design for a stained glass window. This project also included the full implementation of the designs we had conceived. We liaised closely with appointed contractor and the trades to ensure the work was carried out in line with the designs. We ordered all of the interior finishes and had them delivered to the relevant specialists. Furniture, soft furnishings and accessories were ordered alongside the site works. When the house was finished we conducted a full installation of the furnishings, artwork and finishing touches.

Located in Wrightwood Estates, Levi Construction’s latest residency is a two-story mid-century modern home that was re-imagined and extensively remodeled with a designer’s eye for detail, beauty and function. Our client's Tudor-style home felt outdated. She was anxious to be rid of the warm antiquated tones and to introduce new elements of interest while keeping resale value in mind. It was at a Boys & Girls Club luncheon that she met Justin and Lori through a four-time repeat client sitting at the same table. For her, reputation was a key factor in choosing a design-build firm. She needed someone she could trust to help design her vision. Together, JRP and our client solidified a plan for a sweeping home remodel that included a bright palette of neutrals and knocking down walls to create an open-concept first floor. Now updated and expanded, the home has great circulation space for entertaining. The grand entryway, once partitioned by a wall, now bespeaks the spaciousness of the home. An eye catching chandelier floats above the spacious entryway. High ceilings and pale neutral colors make the home luminous. Medium oak hardwood floors throughout add a gentle warmth to the crisp palette. Originally U-shaped and closed, the kitchen is now as beautiful as it is functional. A grand island with luxurious Calacatta quartz spilling across the counter and twin candelabra pendants above the kitchen island bring the room to life. Frameless, two-tone cabinets set against ceramic rhomboid tiles convey effortless style. Just off the second-floor master bedroom is an elevated nook with soaring ceilings and a sunlit rotunda glowing in natural light. The redesigned master bath features a free-standing soaking tub offset by a striking statement wall. Marble-inspired quartz in the shower creates a sense of breezy movement and soften the space. Removing several walls, modern finishes, and the open concept creates a relaxing and timeless vibe. Each part of the house feels light as air. Double Window was covered with two Hunter Douglas Designer Roman Shades, batten back style with UltraGlide lift system. The Roman Shades fabric is a mix of red, orange and yellow paisley pattern to tie into our clients space. The shade gave a great pop of color as well as a soft look to the room to cover the windows and protect their floors and furniture from UV damage.
