Nos clients, une famille avec 3 enfants, ont fait l'achat d'un bien de 124 m² dans l'Ouest Parisien. Ils souhaitaient adapter à leur goût leur nouvel appartement. Pour cela, ils ont fait appel à @advstudio_ai⁠⁠ et notre agence. ⁠ ⁠ L'objectif était de créer un intérieur au look urbain, dynamique, coloré. Chaque pièce possède sa palette de couleurs. Ainsi dans le couloir, on est accueilli par une entrée bleue Yves Klein et des étagères déstructurées sur mesure. Les chambres sont tantôt bleu doux ou intense ou encore vert d'eau. La SDB, elle, arbore un côté plus minimaliste avec sa palette de gris, noirs et blancs. ⁠ ⁠ La pièce de vie, espace majeur du projet, possède plusieurs facettes. Elle est à la fois une cuisine, une salle TV, un petit salon ou encore une salle à manger. Conformément au fil rouge directeur du projet, chaque coin possède sa propre identité mais se marie à merveille avec l'ensemble. ⁠ Ce projet a bénéficié de quelques ajustements sur mesure : le mur de brique et le hamac qui donnent un côté urbain atypique au coin TV ; les bureaux, la bibliothèque et la mezzanine qui ont permis de créer des rangements élégants, adaptés à l'espace.

A moody black wall sets the tone in the living area of this Hampstead property. A velvet mustard sofa sits beautifully in contrast to the moody walls. We selected a geometric black and white rug to ground the elements and added touches of green in the cushions and the plants to create depth and warmth to space.

These homeowners like to entertain and wanted their kitchen and dining room to become one larger open space. To achieve that feel, an 8-foot-high wall that closed off the dining room from the kitchen was removed. By designing the layout in a large “L” shape and adding an island, the room now functions quite well for informal entertaining. There are two focal points of this new space – the kitchen island and the contemporary style fireplace. Granite, wood, stainless steel and glass are combined to make the two-tiered island into a piece of art and the dimensional fireplace façade adds interest to the soft seating area. A unique wine cabinet was designed to show off their large wine collection. Stainless steel tip-up doors in the wall cabinets tie into the finish of the new appliances and asymmetrical legs on the island. A large screen TV that can be viewed from both the soft seating area, as well as the kitchen island was a must for these sports fans.

The owner of this modern loft was attracted to the idea of pastel colors and an eclectic mix of styles, but did not know if it was possible to incorporate these ideas into a modern space. With the use of subtle pastel watercolor paintings and a combination of different furniture styles, Kimberly Demmy Design was able to successfully integrate a unique mix of pieces into a timeless modern space. With televisions becoming considerably larger and displayed in more prominent places, many solutions for hiding, concealing and otherwise disguising this modern box have multiplied. While that’s one approach, hiding a TV does nothing for a room’s style in and of itself, and let’s face it, the idea is (at some point at least) to see it.
