Our Carmel design-build studio was tasked with organizing our client’s basement and main floor to improve functionality and create spaces for entertaining. In the basement, the goal was to include a simple dry bar, theater area, mingling or lounge area, playroom, and gym space with the vibe of a swanky lounge with a moody color scheme. In the large theater area, a U-shaped sectional with a sofa table and bar stools with a deep blue, gold, white, and wood theme create a sophisticated appeal. The addition of a perpendicular wall for the new bar created a nook for a long banquette. With a couple of elegant cocktail tables and chairs, it demarcates the lounge area. Sliding metal doors, chunky picture ledges, architectural accent walls, and artsy wall sconces add a pop of fun. On the main floor, a unique feature fireplace creates architectural interest. The traditional painted surround was removed, and dark large format tile was added to the entire chase, as well as rustic iron brackets and wood mantel. The moldings behind the TV console create a dramatic dimensional feature, and a built-in bench along the back window adds extra seating and offers storage space to tuck away the toys. In the office, a beautiful feature wall was installed to balance the built-ins on the other side. This new-build home in Denver is all about custom furniture, textures, and finishes. The style is a fusion of modern design and mountain home decor. The fireplace in the living room is custom-built with natural stone from Italy, the master bedroom flaunts a gorgeous, bespoke 200-pound chandelier, and the wall-paper is hand-made, too. camilleriparismode projects and design team were approached by the young owners of a 1920s sliema townhouse who wished to transform the un-converted property into their new family home. the design team created a new set of plans which involved demolishing a dividing wall between the 2 front rooms, resulting in a larger living area and family room enjoying natural light through 2 maltese balconies. the juxtaposition of old and new, traditional and modern, rough and smooth is the design element that links all the areas of the house. the seamless micro cement floor in a warm taupe/concrete hue, connects the living room with the kitchen and the dining room, contrasting with the classic decor elements throughout the rest of the space that recall the architectural features of the house. this beautiful property enjoys another 2 bedrooms for the couple’s children, as well as a roof garden for entertaining family and friends. the house’s classic townhouse feel together with camilleriparismode projects and design team’s careful maximisation of the internal spaces, have truly made it the perfect family home.

Working with Quantity Surveyors, WWA, and contractors, Cover Construction, we are delighted to have finished the contemporary remodelling of a detached house in Cheltenham. The project involved opening up the existing single storey extension to create an open plan space with the living room, dining area and kitchen connecting to provide a practical, spacious living flow. A small extension was added to provide a spacious utility room and a home office was created from two smaller, un-used spaces above the extension. In order to satisfy Planning Policy the oriel window was positioned at an angle to avoid overlooking issues for the neighbours. The original stable block was refurbished with new oak doors and a new patio area added to the garden. We would like to thank our lovely clients for instructing us on the project and trusting us with the design and delivery of their home.

For the common areas in this home, we repainted the entire place (including a striking blue accent wall!), installed a floating entertainment center, and integrated a new load-bearing beam. le séjour est orienté sur la rue et plein sud, sous la mezzanine. Le papier-peint panoramique été adapté sur-mesure pour habiller la hauteur sous plafond de 4 mètres et le dessous de la mezzanine. Pour un effet de symétrie, un carré chocolat a été peint de l'autre côté d cela mezzanine, pour séparer la zone escalier et coin bureau.
