Il est difficile d'imaginer que ce beau salon cosy était autrefois ennuyeux et fade ! Il suffit de regarder les photos "avant" dans la galerie photo pour se rendre compte du changement drastique que cette pièce a subi. Aujourd'hui, ce salon est le cœur de la maison, chaleureux et fabuleux. Les propriétaires possédaient de belles œuvres d'art et des bibelots de leurs vies précédentes au Cameroun, à Paris et en Serbie. Nous nous sommes inspirés de ces pièces pour créer le nouveau look de la pièce : éclectique, empreint de voyages, chaleureux, contrasté mais harmonieux. La disposition de la pièce a été réorganisée pour créer trois zones, tout en intégrant le gigantesque canapé en cuir du client. Les trois zones comprennent : un coin confortable et élégant pour accueillir les invités, un espace de détente avec une double ottomane pour un confort maximal, face à un mur "galerie" intégrant la télévision, et une zone dédiée à leur enfant avec un tapis adapté aux enfants, des paniers pour les jouets et un superbe tipi équipé d'une table de dessin et de sa chaise. Les murs ont été peints en Benjamin Moore Black Beauty, une couleur chocolat noir foncé et riche, associée à un blanc pur pour les murs opposés. Les murs sombres étaient ornés d'art abstrait extra-large de couleur crème. Des couches de textures et d'objets ont été ajoutées pour créer un mélange visuellement intéressant et une atmosphère chaleureuse. Le résultat est une pièce multifonctionnelle à la fois pratique et magnifique, qui mélange les goûts des clients.

eDECORATING PLAN The homeowners wanted to bring their love of sailing to their Midwestern home. This was achieved through influences of color and texture, rather than literal interpretations of a coastal design. Sunny yellow walls brighten the room with accents of teal and sand. Rattan, driftwood and colored glass give dimension and contrast. The homeowners' existing sofa was recovered an a luxurious Thibaut velvet damask fabric and topped with embroidered linen chevron pillows by Robert Allen. In the foyer, a damask-printed grasscloth lines the wall with a subtle, yet elegant ambience. The window drapery panels have a metallic quality and give height to the room.

The bookcases in this room needed to be the same size as the bookcase in my previous home. I love decorating for Christmas and I have hundreds of Santa’s and a large village. My husband made Styrofoam scenes for each shelf, which made setting up the houses and lighting so much easier. I wanted to replicate the bookshelves so he didn’t need to remake the entire scene, but again I didn’t want the same look-more contemporary. The design ended up with floating shelves of walnut wood. Each shelf has its own outlet and puck light to a switch (a lesson learned about how to get everything plugged in without cords between the shelves.) Below with cabinets for storage.

This inviting living room is a showcase of contemporary charm, featuring a thoughtfully curated collection of furniture that exudes timeless style. Anchored by a captivating patterned rug, the furniture pieces come together in harmony, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. A striking entertainment unit seamlessly adjoins a fireplace, sharing its exquisite stone surround, which gracefully extends beneath the television. This design integration not only adds a touch of elegance but also serves as a central focal point, enhancing the room's aesthetic appeal.

The client specified a mix of herringbone and chevron in this restaurant. The chevron one of the most innovative products we produce. The chevron is supplied in 4 strip tiles, lefts and rights so installation is similar to that of a plank floor. Chevron can be notoriously difficult to install, but this way is so quick and simple. Each block is hand finished in a hard wax oil. Compatible with under floor heating. Blocks are engineered, tongue and grooved on all 4 sides, supplied pre-finished. The flooring was treated with two further coats of waterproofing agent to make it durable in a high traffic environment.

Cheerful creamy Tuscan yellow walls, sisal rug, blues, turquoise, and acid green are balanced by bold black and white herringbone accent pieces. A large sofa and comfortable chairs provide ample seating, as do the clustered ottomans, which may be used as a cocktail table as shown, or additional seating. Pretty blue and green floral drapery panels frame the beautiful full length plantation shutters on the French style windows.
