The owner of this modern loft was attracted to the idea of pastel colors and an eclectic mix of styles, but did not know if it was possible to incorporate these ideas into a modern space. With the use of subtle pastel watercolor paintings and a combination of different furniture styles, Kimberly Demmy Design was able to successfully integrate a unique mix of pieces into a timeless modern space. Modern! Bright! Colorful! This space was a new build, and the family lived overseas. They approved the palette and some of the furniture. This space was created by layering colors, creating balance with pairs, and mixing textures.

A full transformation of modern apartment located on 21st floor in of London's brand new development, including bedroom decorating, creating an art gallery in the hallway, kitchen and open plan living room design and styling with modern and minimalistic furniture. Lighting design was implemented to improve apartment's atmosphere and selection of living plants added to bring calm and relaxing feeling to the space. Due to no need for privacy (21st floor) a set of net curtains and sheer blinds keeping the apartment feel airy, bright and open.

Con questo intervento di ristrutturazione l’appartamento viene modificato completamente al fine di creare una netta divisione tra zona notte e zona giorno. Il posizionamento della zona giorno nell’ ala nord-est dell’appartamento è stato voluto per sfruttare al massimo la luce che entra dalla grande finestra e creare un collegamento diretto tra l’ingresso ed il salone. La zona del salotto ospita due divani (uno dei quali potrebbe essere un divano letto) e una parete attrezzata/ libreria. La cucina è molto spaziosa e prevede l’alloggiamento di lavastoviglie e lavatrice. In questa soluzione alla zona giorno vengono dedicati in tutto 28 mq. Il bagno è stato riposizionato per poter sfruttare la finestra per la seconda camera da letto (ora chiusa dai motori dei condizionatori).In questa soluzione i sanitari vengono racchiusi in una intima nicchia e la doccia è molto agevole e spaziosa (90X90 cm) La camera principale è stata studiata in maniera da garantire una comoda area- studio, infatti la grande scrivania di fronte alla finestra può ospitare due postazioni di lavoro. L’armadio occupa la parete di fondo della stanza senza togliere spazio all’ambiente. La camera degli ospiti è stata posizionata in sostituzione dell’attuale bagno, ovviamente inglobando anche parte degli ambienti circostanti. La parete con la maggiore lunghezza permette il posizionamento di un armadio molto grande che può andare a compensare l’ assenza del ripostiglio (potranno essere riposte le valigie). All’ interno di tale armadio può essere locata anche la TV. Anche in questa seconda versione in questa stanza è stato posizionato un divano letto matrimoniale.

Pour ce projet, nous avons travaillé de concert avec notre cliente. L’objectif était d’ouvrir les espaces et rendre l’appartement le plus lumineux possible. Pour ce faire, nous avons absolument TOUT cassé ! Seuls vestiges de l’ancien appartement : 2 poteaux, les chauffages et la poutre centrale. ⁠ ⁠Nous avons ainsi réagencé toutes les pièces, supprimé les couloirs et changé les fenêtres. La palette de couleurs était principalement blanche pour accentuer la luminosité; le tout ponctué par des touches de couleurs vert-bleues et boisées. Résultat : des pièces de vie ouvertes, chaleureuses qui baignent dans la lumière. ⁠ ⁠De nombreux rangements, faits maison par nos experts, ont pris place un peu partout dans l’appartement afin de s’inscrire parfaitement dans l’espace. Exemples probants de notre savoir-faire : le meuble bleu dans la chambre parentale ou encore celui en forme d’arche. ⁠ ⁠Grâce à notre process et notre expérience, la rénovation de cet appartement de 100m2 a duré 4 mois et coûté env. 100 000 euros #MonConceptHabitation⁣⁠
