Montecito LandscapePathways paved with crushed stone meander through this incredible space. We planted drought tolerant perennials; nepeta, euphorbia, pittosporum tobira wheelers dwarf, dymondia and lavender. Olive trees and Oaks surround this lovely garden.
Integrated Home ImprovementThis client wanted a custom wrought iron fence so that dogs and children alike couldn't access a dangerous ditch area of their backyard. The end result was a 100' + long, winding wrought iron fence that split the enormous backyard in two with a diagonal streak.
This little piece of wrought iron innovation also included three gates with access to an outdoor patio, and entrances and exits to the other side of the backyard.
Dig Your Garden Landscape DesignAPLD 2021 Silver Award Winning Landscape Design. An expansive back yard landscape with several mature oak trees and a stunning Golden Locust tree has been transformed into a welcoming outdoor retreat. The renovations include a wraparound deck, an expansive travertine natural stone patio, stairways and pathways along with concrete retaining walls and column accents with dramatic planters. The pathways meander throughout the landscape... some with travertine stepping stones and gravel and those below the majestic oaks left natural with fallen leaves. Raised vegetable beds and fruit trees occupy some of the sunniest areas of the landscape. A variety of low-water and low-maintenance plants for both sunny and shady areas include several succulents, grasses, CA natives and other site-appropriate Mediterranean plants complimented by a variety of boulders. yardscapes Inc.Newly constructed contemporary home on Lake Minnetonka in Orono, MN. This beautifully crafted home featured a custom pool with a travertine stone patio and walkway. The driveway is a combination of pavers in different materials, shapes, and colors.

Blank and CablesAs part of a collaboration project, Blank and Cables worked with archetects, designers and the Bardessono Hotel and Spa to create this large stone wheels that act as a centerpiece for the courtyard. Bartholomew Landscaping LtdOur clients had a potentially fabulous garden designed by landscape architects Del Buono Gazerwitz. Unfortunately there were significant problems with water ingress into the property where the garden was located above the swimming pool and Landscape works had not been completed. Bartholomew landscaping’s team of project managers and skilled craftsmen carefully lifted all of the roof garden to enable the fibre glassing team to apply their finishes. The paving and planting was then carefully reinstated to the highest possible standard. The water feature, walls, stairs and paving to the lightwell were also totally refurbished.

Spartan LandscapesThe brief of this project was very clear and simple.
The clients wanted to transform their overgrown and non functional back yard to a usuable and practical space.
The location is in Rye, Vic. The solution was to build tiered retaining walls to stabilize the slope and create level and usuable platforms.
This proved challanging as the soil mostly contains sand, especially here on the lower end of the peninsula, which made excavating easy however difficult to retain the cut once excavated.
Therefore the retaining walls had to be constructed in stages, bottom wall to top wall, back filling and stabilizing the hill side as the next wall got erected.
The end result met all expectations of the clients and the back yard was transformed from an unusable slope to a functional and secure space.
