Classic contemporary kitchen featuring shaker cabinets, waterfall edge stone, simple chrome handles, and chrome fittings, and sage green splashback tiles. Tasmanian Oak solid timber floors.

Open to the living room, the kitchen features walnut open shelving, a gorgeous Cerno "Aeris" LED linear pendant, a SubZero refrigerator and generous work space on the granite peninsula. The large wall niche is a workhorse, holding mugs, a French press, and other kitchen staples. A small painting dresses up the niche and adds an unexpected treat.

This complete home renovation was done in 2 month in Valencia California. In this project we opened up the kitchen wall after we made architectural and engineering plans. We came up with a 3D design and we helped the homeowners to pick the cabinets, countertop and all the rest. We upgraded the plumbing and the electrical to code and we did the same thing in the master bathroom. We also remodeled the guest bathroom, we installed new hardwood floors throughout, re-stained the floors, replaced all the interior doors and main door, painted the entire floors, wall and ceiling.

In this London project, Chantel Elshout has masterfully incorporated Davonport's Holkham style furniture into a contemporary design. The Holkham range, known for its classic shaker style, lends itself to bold colour schemes, statement tiles, and aged metal hardware. Its simplicity and pared-back style make it a versatile choice for various spaces, including smaller kitchens. In this project, the Holkham furniture's inherent elegance and poise are retained, with its narrow rails and styles and a simplified surrounding frame. The furniture itself becomes a focal point, demonstrating how the beauty of the Holkham range lies in how it is styled. Chantel Elshout, with her expertise in kitchen and interior design, has created a unique and thoughtful theme for the project. Her approach to design is holistic, keeping sustainability at the forefront and focusing on designing timeless, multifunctional spaces that complement the client's lifestyle and reflect their personality. One of the big challenges we faced in this kitchen were the stairs to the basement that are smack dab in the middle of the kitchen - really in the middle of the home. I took this as a design opportunity and designed beetle kill pine posts with steel cables as the stair surround. We took the ceiling up as high as we could to give the room more impact and clad the ceiling with beetle kill pine planks.

Here's a great view of the stairs with the spectacular beetle kill pine ceilings. I added handmade sconces to either side of the dining area and we dropped down some simple, yet stylish lights from CB2. the window at the peninsula was added as a pass through to the other side. There's a countertop that extends out at the window in the covered patio.

New kitchen renovation in Clearwater, FL (Countryside area). Client's kitchen was original to the home and was in need of a refresh. We opened up the space by removing a dividing wall between the kitchen and living area to create a fresh feel in the home. Added Diamond Vibe cabinets and new quartz countertops to finish it off.
