From the outset we knew the oak had to be vintage and have lots of character and age. This is beautiful balanced with the new and natural rubber forbo doors. The design compromises of a long, tall unit & sink run in a dark graphite grey. A large island is finished in graphite grey with the addition of brushed steel drawer units under the Gaggenau hob is central to the design. The island is complemented with a sleek white Silestone worktop to create the perfect contrast which also enhances the luxury ceramic floor tiles. The island wraps around a structural pillar to support the custom-steel work and helps maximise the full width of the space.

A four bedroom, two bathroom functional design that wraps around a central courtyard. This home embraces Mother Nature's natural light as much as possible. Whatever the season the sun has been embraced in the solar passive home, from the strategically placed north face openings directing light to the thermal mass exposed concrete slab, to the clerestory windows harnessing the sun into the exposed feature brick wall. Feature brickwork and concrete flooring flow from the interior to the exterior, marrying together to create a seamless connection. Rooftop gardens, thoughtful landscaping and cascading plants surrounding the alfresco and balcony further blurs this indoor/outdoor line. Designer: Dalecki Design Photographer: Dion Robeson

Die Aufteilung des Raumes erfolgte stilvoll und klassisch zugleich. Während an einer Wand die Stauraumschränke mit dem Spültisch und der Küchenelektrik für die Vorräte platziert sind, bieten die Kochtheke sowie der Übergang Raum für Arbeitsmittel. Daran schließt sich im offenen Bereich des Küchenraumes eine großzügige Sitzgelegenheit für die Familie und die Gäste an.

One of the ownersof this apartment is a science fiction writer, and wanted a kitchen that harked back to the 60’s and 70’s with elements of Barbarella, the other wanted a kitchen that worked and functioned as a kitchen - but that looked more like an piece of art piece with a bar, but not a breakfast bar! The entire composition wraps around the space, with full height units curving sinuously into one corner and then flowing around the wall with the bar turning back on itself. The doors are handle-less, and the bar front uses the doors as cladding to give a scalloped detail, to tie in with the bubble tubes that support the eccentric breakfast bar. The bubble tubes have full RGB fibre optics, creating the most amazing effect, combining particularly well with the antique brown granite worktop. Black Miele appliances that would be as discrete as possiblekeep maintain the sleek Sci Fi theme along with flush fit induction pads! A Quooker boiling tap completes the look. To complete this theatrical kitchenthere is a silver leaf splashback with full RGB colour changing LED to create some really dramatic effects.
