WATSON - LONDON The Watson project is an example of how a dark colour scheme and unusual kitchen materials can nestle into the personality of the home. The units along the back wall are from the Leicht Concrete range. In Brasilia Avance, this brooding but soft palette is ingrained with an antique mirror backsplash sourced by the client, opening the galley kitchen through a sparkling finish; this is a fantastic example of the Leicht kitchen design flexibility and bespoke design service. The units of the island are in Textured Wood Veneer in Oak Barrique Avance from the TOPOS range. The worktops in white offset the dark colours and pull the kitchen into the colour scheme of the homeowners open plan room. The kitchen is fitted around the architecture of the apartment, ensconced in the back wall with a beautifully situated island standing prominently in front. The island features a submerged sink with a Quooker Tap and a Siemens Dishwasher. The kitchen designers recommended the client the Westin Cache Extractor and Miele Ovens, which the client chose to incorporate into their stunning Central London apartment. They also chose a Leibherr Fridge and Freezer.

Un ufficio, moderno, lineare e neutro viene riconvertito in abitazione e reso accogliente attraverso un gioco di colori, rivestimenti e decor. La sua particolare conformazione, costituita da uno stretto corridoio, è stata lo stimolo alla progettazione che si è trasformato da limite in opportunità. Lo spazio si presenta trasformato e ripartito, illuminato da grandi finestre a nastro che riempiono l’ambiente di luce naturale. L’intervento è consistito quindi nella valorizzazione degli ambienti esistenti, monocromatici e lineari che, grazie ai giochi volumetrici già presenti, si prestavano adeguatamente ad un gioco cromatico e decorativo. I colori scelti hanno delineato gli ambienti e ne hanno aumentato lo spazio . Il verde del living, nelle due tonalità, esprime rigenerazione e rinascita, portandoci a respirare più profondamente e trasmettendo fiducia e sicurezza. Favorisce l’abbassamento della pressione sanguigna stimolando l’ipofisi: l’ideale per la zona giorno! La palette cromatica comprende anche bianco che fa da tela neutra, aiutando ad alleggerire l’ambiente conferendo equilibrio e serenità. La cucina è il cuore della casa, racchiusa in un “cubo” cromatico che infonde apertura e socialità, generando un ambiente dinamico e multifunzionale. Diventa il luogo per accogliere e condividere, accompagnati dal rosso mattone, colore che aumenta l’energia e stimola l’appetito

Handle-less Supermatt Black island, teamed with Silk Grey Gloss & Dekton Domoos worktops. The hint of dusky Pink really works against the monochrome setting. Miele Graphite Grey Ovens and Miele downdraft hob & extractor on the island.

The Watson project brings a dark colour scheme into contrast with a white, bright wall colour. The units along the back wall are from the Leicht Concrete range. The concrete in Leicht's Concrete range is lacquered and smooth to the touch.

The Clapham Kitchen was one of our first bespoke kitchen projects. Our client came to us with some great ideas and a range of reference images which we used as a starting point for the design. To keep within budget we focused on some key pieces like the bespoke solid walnut butchers block drawer unit and a suspended lightweight custom made shelf, whilst savings were made elsewhere through the use of a prefinished white melamine faced birch ply panel for the doors and drawer fronts. The bespoke kitchen was finished with an upholstered built in banquette seating area and concrete topped dining table.
