The minimalist kitchen is always a winner. The kitchen features Skyros gold marble countertops with flat polished edges. To keep the look simple, the sample marble slab was used as a full height splash. To complete the look Suber wire brush wood looking porcelain was selected.

Photographer Derrick Godson Clients brief was to create a modern stylish kitchen in a predominantly grey colour palette. We cleverly used different colours, textures and patterns in our choice of soft furnishings to create a stylish modern interior. Open plan area includes a stunning designer dining table and chairs from Denmark with coordinating bar stools for the island. We also included a stunning waterfall style countertop with coordinating splash back to create a real design statement. The windows were fitted with remote controlled blinds and beautiful handmade curtains and custom poles. The herringbone floor and statement lighting give this home a modern edge, whilst its use of neutral colours ensures it is inviting and timeless.

Through a collective effort, this unique structure has been reorganize to fit a variety of lifestyles and commercial needs.

This contemporary kitchen was designed and installed by KCA as part of a renovation of the garden apartment in a Grade II listed property in New Town, Edinburgh by Barclay Interiors. The project has been shortlisted for an International Design and Architecture award. As space was limited, the kitchen is built along one wall with two large windows to allow natural light to flow into the space. The light colour scheme ensures that the kitchen feels bright and also complements the overall interior design style of the apartment. Open shelving creates practical storage space, whilst creating an area to display objects and accessories that add personality to the kitchen. The polished white Macaubus worktops complement the light colour scheme whilst adding interest and the horizontal veining enhances the feeling of space. As the apartment is a luxury holiday rental, the kitchen had to be easy to maintain and highly durable so handleless, laminate cabinetry was chosen. To maintain the minimalist design, many of the appliances were integrated to hide them away with only the Siemens oven and induction hob on show. SeaThru is a new, waterfront, modern home. SeaThru was inspired by the mid-century modern homes from our area, known as the Sarasota School of Architecture. This homes designed to offer more than the standard, ubiquitous rear-yard waterfront outdoor space. A central courtyard offer the residents a respite from the heat that accompanies west sun, and creates a gorgeous intermediate view fro guest staying in the semi-attached guest suite, who can actually SEE THROUGH the main living space and enjoy the bay views. Noble materials such as stone cladding, oak floors, composite wood louver screens and generous amounts of glass lend to a relaxed, warm-contemporary feeling not typically common to these types of homes.
