Check out this beautiful contemporary home in Winchester recently completed by JBT Signature Homes. We used JeldWen W2500 series windows and doors on this project.

This lovely little modern farmhouse is located at the base of the foothills in one of Boulder’s most prized neighborhoods. Tucked onto a challenging narrow lot, this inviting and sustainably designed 2400 sf., 4 bedroom home lives much larger than its compact form. The open floor plan and vaulted ceilings of the Great room, kitchen and dining room lead to a beautiful covered back patio and lush, private back yard. These rooms are flooded with natural light and blend a warm Colorado material palette and heavy timber accents with a modern sensibility. A lyrical open-riser steel and wood stair floats above the baby grand in the center of the home and takes you to three bedrooms on the second floor. The Master has a covered balcony with exposed beamwork & warm Beetle-kill pine soffits, framing their million-dollar view of the Flatirons. Its simple and familiar style is a modern twist on a classic farmhouse vernacular. The stone, Hardie board siding and standing seam metal roofing create a resilient and low-maintenance shell. The alley-loaded home has a solar-panel covered garage that was custom designed for the family’s active & athletic lifestyle (aka “lots of toys”). The front yard is a local food & water-wise Master-class, with beautiful rain-chains delivering roof run-off straight to the family garden.

Ein neues Design für eine charmante Berliner Altbauwohnung: Für dieses Kreuzberger Objekt gestaltete THE INNER HOUSE ein elegantes, farbiges und harmonisches Gesamtkonzept. Wohn- und Schlafzimmer überzeugen nun durch stimmige Farben, welche die Wirkung der vorher ausschließlich weißen Räume komplett verändern. Im Wohnzimmer sind Familienerbstücke harmonisch mit neu erworbenen Möbeln kombiniert, die Gesamtgestaltung lässt den Raum gemütlicher und gleichzeitig größer erscheinen als bisher. Auch das Schlafzimmer erscheint in neuem Licht: Mit warmen Blautönen wurde ein behaglicher Rückzugsort geschaffen. Da das Schlafzimmer zu wenig Platz für ausreichenden Stauraum bietet, wurde ein maßgefertigter Schrank entworfen, der stattdessen die komplette Länge des Flurs nutzt. La pièce à vivre manquait de charme. Mes clients avaient du mal à se l'approprier. La couleur dominante de beige et de marron n'apportait pas de chaleur. De nouvelles couleurs amènent l'effet de cocooning souhaité ainsi qu'un papier peint de Rebell Walls pour le décor. Les appliques Design'heure sont posées ainsi qu'un nouveau point lumineux pour accueillir la suspension Petite Friture dans le salon. En harmonie, l'entrée et la cuisine sont repeintes. En complément du mobilier actuel, une bibliothèque et un meuble TV ont été créés sur mesure. Pour garder une transparence sur le panoramique du jardin et apporter une intimité chaleureuse, le choix des rideaux s'est posé sur des stores bateaux en voilage. Des coussins et autres textiles finissent la décoration de cette pièce.

Being the second home we have designed for this family, The challenge was creating spaces that were functional for this active family!. With the help of Jim Bulejski Architects, we completely gutted/renovated the first floor. Adding onto the original back of the house creating the new kitchen space any chef would want to create in. Renovated the original/existing "kitchen" to be an eat-in and side extension to the kitchen and coffee bar area. We added a working laundry room for the kids to dump backpacks and sports gear and a refuge for her 5 dogs, a fresh den/seating area for the mom and dad, and last but not least, updated the old Living Room to create a cozy space for the kids and adults to retreat to! Using cool grays, navy, white and gold accents, these spaces are as gorgeous as they are comfortable.
