This forever home, perfect for entertaining and designed with a place for everything, is a contemporary residence that exudes warmth, functional style, and lifestyle personalization for a family of five. Our busy lawyer couple, with three close-knit children, had recently purchased a home that was modern on the outside, but dated on the inside. They loved the feel, but knew it needed a major overhaul. Being incredibly busy and having never taken on a renovation of this scale, they knew they needed help to make this space their own. Upon a previous client referral, they called on Pulp to make their dreams a reality. Then ensued a down to the studs renovation, moving walls and some stairs, resulting in dramatic results. Beth and Carolina layered in warmth and style throughout, striking a hard-to-achieve balance of livable and contemporary. The result is a well-lived in and stylish home designed for every member of the family, where memories are made daily.

For this stunning home, our St. Pete studio created a bold, bright, balanced design plan to invoke a sophisticated vibe. Our love for the color blue was included in the carefully planned color scheme of the home. We added a gorgeous blue and white rug in the entryway to create a fabulous first impression. The adjacent living room got soft blue accents creating a cozy ambience. In the formal dining area, we added a beautiful wallpaper with fun prints to complement the stylish furniture. Another lovely wallpaper with fun blue and yellow details creates a cheerful ambience in the breakfast corner near the beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms have a neutral palette creating an elegant and relaxing vibe. Two contemporary styled sofas flank each other for easy conversation. Add two contemporary leather ottomans and create a place to set a drink or relax your feet. A linen slip covered chair makes a great place to enjoy a good book and enjoy the crackling fire. Add tassel trims to the leading edge of the drapery for a great detail and relaxing piece of art to your mantel. Hardwood floors surround the room and a wonderful wool shag rug creates coziness in the sitting area. The large chandeliers above are made of wrought iron with burlap shades. This makes a wonderful gathering place to enjoy a warm drink after a day of skiing.

Removed old brick fireplace and surrounding cabinets. Centered the extended wall to relocate and recess the T.V and added a new fireplace insert with remote controls. Freestanding chests along with lamps and elongated mirrors complete the new, fresh contemporary look.
