One of our most remarkable transformations, this remains a stunning property in a very prominent location on the street scene. The house previously was very dated but with a large footprint to work with. The footprint was extended again by about 50%, in order to accommodate effectively two families. Our client was willing to take a risk and go for a contemporary design that pushed the boundaries of what many others would feel comfortable with. We were able to explore materials, glazing and the overall form of the proposal to such an extent that the cladding manufacturers even used this project as a case study. The proposal contains a cinema room, dedicated playroom and a vast living space leading to the orangery. The children’s bedrooms were all customised by way of hand-painted murals in individual themes.

Nestled on Lake LBJ, this Stunning Lake House has all of the makings of a True Texas Hill Country home. Filled with specialty rooms for all of the family to enjoy, you may never want to leave.

When we designed this home in 2011, we ensured that the geothermal loop would avoid a future pool. Eleven years later, the dream is complete. Many of the cabana’s elements match the house. Adding a full outdoor kitchen complete with a 1/2 bath, sauna, outdoor shower, and water fountain with bottle filler, and lots of room for entertaining makes it the favorite family hangout. When viewed from the main house, one looks through the cabana into the virgin forest beyond.

A unique external rendering project, combining modern coloured renders with traditional banding methods. We created depth and impeccable detail using our light weight render system. This exclusive property in Sunningdale encapsulated a traditional London style effect around the entire property. Boasting large expansive walls, detailed chimney design, custom fireplace walls, along side beautiful stone work within an impeccable landscape design. A new, modernist home adopting first floor living and passivhaus principles on the North Cornwall coast Our clients were seeking a radical change from the 1960’s prefabricated bungalow that originally occupied this site in Widemouth Bay, Bude. Our scheme presented an inventive ‘white box’ solution for the client in delivering a three-bedroom, two-storey home that sits within the footprint of the existing house. Bedrooms and a garden room are accommodated on the ground floor, whilst the cantilevered first floor provides open plan kitchen, dining and living areas. In creating this layout, previously unseen panoramic views from the property out to the Atlantic Ocean were revealed. Floor to ceiling windows and a large, west facing terrace make the most of the commanding position above the Bay. The property was designed adopting Passivhaus principles for air-tightness and has a wood fibre insulated timber frame. Timber cladding and hi-tech lime-based render complement the coastal location and are utilised in the adjoining garage and store.
