This ranch was a complete renovation! We took it down to the studs and redesigned the space for this young family. We opened up the main floor to create a large kitchen with two islands and seating for a crowd and a dining nook that looks out on the beautiful front yard. We created two seating areas, one for TV viewing and one for relaxing in front of the bar area. We added a new mudroom with lots of closed storage cabinets, a pantry with a sliding barn door and a powder room for guests. We raised the ceilings by a foot and added beams for definition of the spaces. We gave the whole home a unified feel using lots of white and grey throughout with pops of orange to keep it fun.

Dans cette maison datant de 1993, il y avait une grande perte de place au RDCH; Les clients souhaitaient une rénovation totale de ce dernier afin de le restructurer. Ils rêvaient d'un espace évolutif et chaleureux. Nous avons donc proposé de re-cloisonner l'ensemble par des meubles sur mesure et des claustras. Nous avons également proposé d'apporter de la lumière en repeignant en blanc les grandes fenêtres donnant sur jardin et en retravaillant l'éclairage. Et, enfin, nous avons proposé des matériaux ayant du caractère et des coloris apportant du peps!

Modern luxury meets warm farmhouse in this Southampton home! Scandinavian inspired furnishings and light fixtures create a clean and tailored look, while the natural materials found in accent walls, casegoods, the staircase, and home decor hone in on a homey feel. An open-concept interior that proves less can be more is how we’d explain this interior. By accentuating the “negative space,” we’ve allowed the carefully chosen furnishings and artwork to steal the show, while the crisp whites and abundance of natural light create a rejuvenated and refreshed interior. This sprawling 5,000 square foot home includes a salon, ballet room, two media rooms, a conference room, multifunctional study, and, lastly, a guest house (which is a mini version of the main house). 玄関は家族やゲストを迎え入れ、見送る大切なスペース。「家の顔」と言われるとおり、玄関は家全体の印象を決めるだけなく、防犯、断熱、採光、収納など、さまざまな役割を担います。小さいスペースながら、ドア、下駄箱、収納などの設備をはじめ、玄関アプローチ、玄関ポーチ、玄関ホールといった内観から外観に渡る空間まで、玄関リフォームにはたくさんの選択肢があります。ご家庭のライフスタイルやニーズに合わせて、納得のいく玄関周りに仕上げましょう。

コンテンポラリースタイルの玄関ドアをリフォームする

玄関ドアは、玄関スペースの中で最も重要な箇所。予算が限られている場合でも、古くなったドアを塗り替えるだけでグッと印象が変わります。また、リフォーム用にデザインされたドアを活用すれば、工期や費用を抑えつつ、デザイン性、機能性ともに充実した玄関リフォームを実現することが可能です。また、ガラスドアで太陽光を取り入れると、玄関スペースを明るく演出することができます。玄関網戸は、室内の風通しをよくし、エアコンや扇風機の電気代が節約でき、虫よけ、結露対策に効果を発揮します。

高齢化社会を迎える日本にとって、住宅のバリアフリー化は重要な課題です。玄関エリアに段差をなくし緩やかなスロープを設置すれば、車椅子でも簡単に、そして安全に出入りすることが可能になります。スロープを設けるスペースがない場合は、階段昇降機で対応することも可能です。手すりは、車椅子に乗る人用とその他の家族用の2種類を設置しましょう。玄関に車椅子用の収納スペースを確保すると、外出準備が一箇所にまとまるので便利です。
