A small contemporary bathroom room which has been renovated to include a wet room shower tray, bath, wall hung basin unit, back to wall toilet, towel rail and cupboard storage. We also included some little pockets within the shower area for the customer to put their shampoos without encrouching on them within the shower. Also to maximise the space we installed a pocket door, so no waisted space within the flat at all, in or out of the bathroom.

Previously, a window of frosted glass block punctuated the hallway. Unfortunately, it overlooked a perpetually dark courtyard and illuminated nothing. I changed this into an art installation of light. With its multiple settings, one can rotate through a selection of colors to wash the space in colored light, instantly changing the mood and feel of the space. The portal is seen here in lime green. When these Canton, MA homeowners desired to upgrade their childrens’ bathroom, they were referred to Renovisions who were grateful to accept the task. The clients were unhappy with the existing cramped floor plan, lack of storage, old and drafty windows, outdated fixtures and overall lackluster aesthetic. Renovisions designed the new room to not only meet the client’s goals, but exceeded them abundantly. Mobility in the space was limited due to the door swing into the room. Renovisions recommended replacing the currenmt door with a pocket door in an arch-top beaded design to match the nearby bedroom doors, while also upgrading the hallway linen closet with new shelving and same styled door. Renovisions also increased the layout by borrowing space from the adjacent dining room. There is now more room for the handsome, quartered-mahogany wall-hung vanity with linen tower. Since the homeowners requested a contemporary look, the design team focused on choosing more modern products including a soaking tub, minimalistic square designed shower heads, tub filler, single lever faucet and a large rectangular sink. The white quartz countertop with wide veining and waterfall edge, along with the striking larger format subway tile finished with square edge chrome profiles contribute to the clean aethetic and modern appeal. From the sleek porcelain plank floor tile, new double-mulled Marvin casement windows and recessed lighting that provides just the right amount of light, the end result: a one-of-a-kind bathroom, a unique and modern ‘Revitalized Room’.

The entrance hall is a welcoming space and is softened by the John Cullen Lighting system, which creates a soft glow of ambient light. The drawing room walls are rendered with ebony and ivory polished plaster, and teamed with wool and cashmere soft furnishings, creating a strong graphic design style. Dramatic floor uplighters highlight the Philippe Starck mirror, and the Barbara Barry cross-back dining chairs, create an intimate and glamorous dining room.

Ein Bad für die Kinder sollte es werden, im Haus der Bauherren, unter dem Dach. Mit Toilette, Dusche, ein wenig Stauraum und später Platz für die Waschmaschine, damit sie selbst Waschen können. ( ob es passiert ist, wissen wir leider nicht ). Aber der Raum war durchaus, bedingt durch die Dachschräge etwas schwierig einzurichten. Durch das Schrägstellen der Dusche, konnten wir den Stehbereich in der Dusche etwas höher werden lassen. An der Waschbeckenwand war wenig Platz, so daß wir uns mit einem besonderen Halbeinbaubecken beholfen haben.
