This transitional primary suite remodel is simply breathtaking. It is all but impossible to choose the best part of this dreamy primary space. Neutral colors in the bedroom create a tranquil escape from the world. One of the main goals of this remodel was to maximize the space of the primary closet. From tiny and cramped to large and spacious, it is now simple, functional, and sophisticated. Every item has a place or drawer to keep a clean and minimal aesthetic. The primary bathroom builds on the neutral color palette of the bedroom and closet with a soothing ambiance. The JRP team used crisp white, soft cream, and cloudy gray to create a bathroom that is clean and calm. To avoid creating a look that falls flat, these hues were layered throughout the room through the flooring, vanity, shower curtain, and accent pieces. Stylish details include wood grain porcelain tiles, crystal chandelier lighting, and a freestanding soaking tub. Vadara quartz countertops flow throughout, complimenting the pure white cabinets and illuminating the space. This spacious transitional primary suite offers plenty of functional yet elegant features to help prepare for every occasion. The goal was to ensure that each day begins and ends in a tranquil space. This custom design-built gated stone-exterior European mansion is nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor luxury living. Featuring a 19” foyer with spectacular Swarovski crystal chandelier, 7 bedrooms (all ensuite), 8 1/2 bathrooms, high-end designer’s main floor, and wok/fry kitchen with mother of pearl mosaic backsplash, Subzero/Wolf appliances, open-concept design including a huge formal dining room and home office. Radiant heating throughout the house with central air conditioning and HRV systems. The master suite consists of the master bedroom with individual balcony, Hollywood style walk-in closet, ensuite with 2-person jetted tub, and steam shower unit with rain head and double-sided body jets. Also includes a fully finished basement suite with separate entrance, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room.

New, full-height cabinetry with adjustable hanging rods and shelves were installed in a similar configuration to the original closet. The built-in dresser and island cabinetry were replaced with new soft-close cabinetry, and we replicated the primary bathroom countertops in the space to tie the rooms together. By adding numerous thoughtfully placed recessed lights, the closet felt more open and inviting, like a luxury boutique.

Step into this expansive master suite! The concern? Storage. Our solution? A his and hers closet system, which utilized building closet cabinetry in the dead-nook-space in the sitting area. This would now be designated now as his' closet, complete with drawers, pull outs for shoes, hanging areas, and a special fake drawer panel for laundry basket. Cabinetry finished in BM Distant Gray. The master bathroom received (2) new floating vanities (his and hers) with flat panel drawers and stainless steel finger pulls, open shelving, and finished with a gray glaze.
