This Palm Beach apartment is all about the views. With it's modern lines, window walls with ocean views and bright clean lines, the modern style furnishings were well suited. Hidden within the ceilings, soft inlay lighting helps illuminate the space without breaking the sight-lines to the windows. We brought life to the room by adding hints of gold and having a splash of color from the orange accent pillows. The tones of blue coming from the exterior were not overpowered by the subtle addition of color.

全体にブルー系で統一させた部屋（家具、小物は既存品）。 カーテンは、可愛らしくも子どもっぽくはない刺繍風の花模模様。スモーキーブルーのラグを敷いて、和室を「洋」のイメージに。 ラグは、畳との境目を意識しない程度の淡い色で、部屋を狭く感じさせず、円形の柄がカーテンの柄ともマッチしています。 冬用のベッドスプレッドはキルティングなので、南西の暖かい部屋では布団にこれを掛けるだけで充分暖かく過ごせます。

壁と天井は和の雰囲気を残したままとしています。一面の壁にアクセントカラーのダークブルー色の珪藻土塗り仕上げをもってきています。

They provide a nice contrast to the open Florida tropical feel. “I added character to the openness by using exotic cherry wood,” she says. “I repeated this throughout the home and it works well.” Known for capturing the client’s vision while adding her own innovative twists, Corredor lightened the family room, giving it a contemporary and modern edge with colorful art and matching throw pillows on the sofas. She added a large beige leather ottoman as the center coffee table in the room. This round piece was punctuated with a bold-toned flowering plant atop. It effortlessly matches the pillows and colors of the contemporary canvas.
