This small studio has everything! It includes apartment size small white appliances, stunning colors (Diamond Cloud Gray cabinets), and great storage solutions! Besides the beauty of the turquoise backsplash and clean lines this small space is extremely functional! Warm wood boxes were custom made to house all of the cooking essentials in arms reach. The cabinets flow completely to the ceiling to allow for every inch of storage space to be used. Grey cabinets are even above the kitchen window. This Condo has been in the family since it was first built. And it was in desperate need of being renovated. The kitchen was isolated from the rest of the condo. The laundry space was an old pantry that was converted. We needed to open up the kitchen to living space to make the space feel larger. By changing the entrance to the first guest bedroom and turn in a den with a wonderful walk in owners closet. Then we removed the old owners closet, adding that space to the guest bath to allow us to make the shower bigger. In addition giving the vanity more space. The rest of the condo was updated. The master bath again was tight, but by removing walls and changing door swings we were able to make it functional and beautiful all that the same time.

This lower level bar was a special surprise from wife to husband - the custom Criss Craft boat island was kept under wraps until unveiled in a special moment. The floor is a wide plank floor that mimics wood but with fun blue and grey color tones. The backsplash tile is an oversides arabesque mosaic in a blue that miimics the lake water. The bar is truly a kitchenette for entertaining on the lake level, complete with full fridge, range, dishwasher and built in bar on that far left cabinet. The counterstools were custom made for the project by a local craftsman.

This New England home has the essence of a traditional home, yet offers a modern appeal. The home renovation and addition involved moving the kitchen to the addition, leaving the resulting space to become a formal dining and living area. The extension over the garage created an expansive open space on the first floor. The large, cleverly designed space seamlessly integrates the kitchen, a family room, and an eating area. A substantial center island made of soapstone slabs has ample space to accommodate prepping for dinner on one side, and the kids doing their homework on the other. The pull-out drawers at the end contain extra refrigerator and freezer space. Additionally, the glass backsplash tile offers a refreshing luminescence to the area. A custom designed informal dining table fills the space adjacent to the center island. Paint colors in keeping with the overall color scheme were given to the children. Their resulting artwork sits above the family computers. Chalkboard paint covers the wall opposite the kitchen area creating a drawing wall for the kids. Around the corner from this, a reclaimed door from the grandmother's home hangs in the opening to the pantry. All of the cabinets in this kitchen, that has been featured on Houzz, were originally the same dark wood stain as the island. The client hired us to lighten things up and we did just that by changing the perimeter cabinets to a soft white and installing a highly reflective custom moorish tile glass backsplash in the same colour. The primary color scheme of this room uses various shades of blue, to help pop-in coastal undertones. We mixed patterns and straight lines with organic elements to create soft edges.

Design: Jules Duffy Design; This kitchen was gutted to the studs and renovated TWICE after 2 burst pipe events! It's finally complete! With windows and doors on 3 sides, the kitchen is flooded with amazing light and beautiful breezes. The finishes were selected from a driftwood palate as a nod to the beach one block away, The limestone floor (beyond practical) dares all to find the sand traveling in on kids' feet. We were called to update a kitchen that had not been touched since the 1950's. It needed some serious modernization with new appliances and lighting as a start. The most meaningful change was to open up the kitchen to the rest of the house. We opened up the wall that ran where the sink currently is. The homeowner wanted a fresh, light, "Old Florida" feel. We created this design by layering in light blues, grays, and natural elements of stone and wood. To keep it feeling light and clean, Stainless Steel is used for all the metal finishes.
