The front of the house was a beautiful character home built in 1912, lovingly cared for and restored, inside and out. The back of the house suffered from a 1988 addition built by a previous owner with a shed roof and poorly integrated with the rest of the home. The owners described a time-warp that occurred whenever you crossed that old-to-new threshold within the home. We designed a renovation that would tie the exterior of the addition in with the rest of the character home, and provide more beautiful and functional spaces on the interior. The 680 SF interior renovation includes a new family lounge area, kitchen, powder room, work space, entry closets, laundry room, office, and a new feature stair to connect the main floor of the home with the previously separated basement level. The interior aesthetic is modern, yet timeless. All design elements serve double duty by contributing to the pragmatic function of the space, while providing a playful and dramatic design, which brings the family together.

This beautiful kitchen is perfect for friends and family to gather around, cook meals together, or to simply enjoy an afternoon of baking with the kids. The large central island has plenty of storage including a mixer lift, a microwave drawer, and trash/recycle bins. Easy maintenance and kid friendly with plenty of storage were on top of our list. Beach house kitchen remodel with shaker style maple cabinets with white enamel uppers, stony bridge bases and carbon enameled island. Viking 6 burner rangetop and Danby beverage center. The island counter top is White Carrara Gioia polished marble, the surrounding counter and rangetop backsplace is Black Marine Honed soapstone.

We gave this newly-built weekend home in New London, New Hampshire a colorful and contemporary interior style. The successful result of a partnership with Smart Architecture, Grace Hill Construction and Terri Wilcox Gardens, we translated the contemporary-style architecture into modern, yet comfortable interiors for a Massachusetts family. Creating a lake home designed for gatherings of extended family and friends that will produce wonderful memories for many years to come.

In this kitchen remodel we removed all the dated oak cabinets and replaced them with a new fresh coastal color combination of white and blue. We also included the unused breakfast area space to expand the kitchen down further allowing us to include both a main sink and a prep sink, both of which are farmhouse white style. All of the hardware and lights are done in a bold gold finish that compliments the blue and white cabinetry. Lastly the old dated floor tiles were removed and replaced with new bright white larger scale tiles.

A gorgeous waterfront kitchen, complete with warm rustic wood flooring, trendy slate blue cabinetry, and exposed beams, with brass nautical accents that nod to the Seacoast New England history. Emerald metal bar stools complete the look.
