The fireplace wall was created from oversize porcelain slabs to achieve a back-to-back fluid pattern not corrupted by grout. This product was supplied by Modern Tile & Carpet and put together like an intricate jigsaw puzzle around a hearth.

We renovated this fireplace and added stacked stone to the ceiling and a nice large mantel to give warmth. We also added all new furnishings included 2 long sideboards to fill the space and 2 coffee tables side by side for added greatness.

I will be posting a side by side before and after at the end of this album. The new fireplace surround is a gorgeous three dimensional limestone that gives this room a sophisticated look.

This beachfront infinity retreat offers unobstructed waterfront views from the living room thanks to a luxurious nano door. The wall of glass panes opens end to end to expose the glistening lake and an entrance to the porch. There, you are greeted by a stunning infinity edge pool, an outdoor kitchen, and award-winning landscaping completed by Drost Landscape. Inside, the home showcases Birchwood craftsmanship throughout. Our family of skilled carpenters built custom tongue and groove siding to adorn the walls. The one of a kind details don’t stop there. The basement displays a nine-foot fireplace designed and built specifically for the home to keep the family warm on chilly Northern Michigan evenings. truly the greatest of great rooms...reminds one of a loft yet looks out to the water on all sides and through the odd shaped whimsical windows. bamboo flooring grounds the sky blue walls and runs through out this open floor of kitchen, dining and entertainment spaces. fun with the alternating color upholstered bar stools and the art hi atop the room, give the homeowners the fun they seek to get away to.
