A light and neutral bathroom designed to feel modern with a slight historic touch. The goal was to keep the layout open with a custom brass shower track and linen curtains instead of anything solid. Complete redesign and remodel of a 1908 Classical Revival style home in Portland, OR.

Small full-bath remodel we completed last year in 2017. Loved the glass tile which added a lot of visual interest and made a small space feel larger.

This Paradise Model ATU is extra tall and grand! As you would in you have a couch for lounging, a 6 drawer dresser for clothing, and a seating area and closet that mirrors the kitchen. Quartz countertops waterfall over the side of the cabinets encasing them in stone. The custom kitchen cabinetry is sealed in a clear coat keeping the wood tone light. Black hardware accents with contrast to the light wood. A main-floor bedroom- no crawling in and out of bed. The wallpaper was an owner request; what do you think of their choice? The bathroom has natural edge Hawaiian mango wood slabs spanning the length of the bump-out: the vanity countertop and the shelf beneath. The entire bump-out-side wall is tiled floor to ceiling with a diamond print pattern. The shower follows the high contrast trend with one white wall and one black wall in matching square pearl finish. The warmth of the terra cotta floor adds earthy warmth that gives life to the wood. 3 wall lights hang down illuminating the vanity, though durning the day, you likely wont need it with the natural light shining in from two perfect angled long windows. This Paradise model was way customized. The biggest alterations were to remove the loft altogether and have one consistent roofline throughout. We were able to make the kitchen windows a bit taller because there was no loft we had to stay below over the kitchen. This ATU was perfect for an extra tall person. After editing out a loft, we had these big interior walls to work with and although we always have the high-up octagon windows on the interior walls to keep thing light and the flow coming through, we took it a step (or should I say foot) further and made the french pocket doors extra tall. This also made the shower wall tile and shower head extra tall. We added another ceiling fan above the kitchen and when all of those awning windows are opened up, all the hot air goes right up and out.

This bathroom combines two very different spaces. The entry to the home which had no walkway and was never used was combined with a laundry room to create a new bath closer to the new 1st floor bedroom. A new soaking tub, shower, and vanity lend a fresh feeling to this off beat room.

Dazu gehörte auch, den Grundriss zu ändern: Die Küche hat ihren Platz nun als Ort für Gemeinsamkeit im ehemaligen Berliner Zimmer. Dafür gibt es ein ruhiges Schlafzimmer in den hinteren Räumen. Das Gästezimmer verfügt jetzt zudem über ein eigenes Gästebad im britischen Stil. Bei der Sanierung achtete THE INNER HOUSE darauf, stilvolle und originale Details wie Doppelkastenfenster, Türen und Beschläge sowie das Parkett zu erhalten und aufzuarbeiten. Darüber hinaus bringt ein stimmiges Farbkonzept die bereits vorhandenen Vintagestücke nun angemessen zum Strahlen. Our Indianapolis studio designed this new construction home for empty nesters. We completed the interior and exterior design for the 4,500 sq ft home. The fully renovated master bathroom has been upgraded, including a luxurious glass-enclosed shower, free-standing soaking tub, and relocated double-piece toilet. The floor-to-ceiling wet wall with multi versatile water pressures and adjustments. Including a niche in the shower for easy access to your shampoos and conditioners. The double-acting glass door makes the space more attainable when getting in and out.

For this bathroom we created a soothing spa-like vibe by using a green tile with tonal variation. The floor is a small white hexagon tile to draw in light. The toilet is dual flush and the vanity is slatted wood with a black faucet.

This master bath was reconfigured by opening up the wall between the former tub/shower, and a dry vanity. A new transom window added in much-needed natural light. The floors have radiant heat, with carrara marble hexagon tile. The vanity is semi-custom white oak, with a carrara top. Polished nickel fixtures finish the clean look. Photo: Robert Radifera
