This penthouse in an industrial warehouse pairs old and new for versatility, function, and beauty. The master bath includes a large freestanding bathtub, exposed whitewashed brick and a textured dark teal wall.

The passage of light across this wash basin will create beautiful wavy patters on the countertop underneath. Combine that with the flow of water inside this sink and you will witness a designed artistic pleasure with every use. Wave is created out of a material called Vetro Freddo which is a mixture of glass pigments and resin making it extremely resilient to high and low temperatures. You will have to make no design compromises with the many color options and the modern circular bowl shape of the Wave

Our Seattle studio designed this stunning 5,000+ square foot Snohomish home to make it comfortable and fun for a wonderful family of six. On the main level, our clients wanted a mudroom. So we removed an unused hall closet and converted the large full bathroom into a powder room. This allowed for a nice landing space off the garage entrance. We also decided to close off the formal dining room and convert it into a hidden butler's pantry. In the beautiful kitchen, we created a bright, airy, lively vibe with beautiful tones of blue, white, and wood. Elegant backsplash tiles, stunning lighting, and sleek countertops complete the lively atmosphere in this kitchen. On the second level, we created stunning bedrooms for each member of the family. In the primary bedroom, we used neutral grasscloth wallpaper that adds texture, warmth, and a bit of sophistication to the space creating a relaxing retreat for the couple. We used rustic wood shiplap and deep navy tones to define the boys' rooms, while soft pinks, peaches, and purples were used to make a pretty, idyllic little girls' room. In the basement, we added a large entertainment area with a show-stopping wet bar, a large plush sectional, and beautifully painted built-ins. We also managed to squeeze in an additional bedroom and a full bathroom to create the perfect retreat for overnight guests. For the decor, we blended in some farmhouse elements to feel connected to the beautiful Snohomish landscape. We achieved this by using a muted earth-tone color palette, warm wood tones, and modern elements. The home is reminiscent of its spectacular views – tones of blue in the kitchen, primary bathroom, boys' rooms, and basement; eucalyptus green in the kids' flex space; and accents of browns and rust throughout. ---Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. A built in wall cabinet was fabricated for the Bathroom in reclaimed barn wood exposed facades with an internal carcasse in enamel painted MDF. The door fronts were mirrored and there was a concealed LED lighting system to light the exposed barn wood shelf.

Update to traditional home in Berkeley's Claremont district. Work included new kitchen, bath and master suite. This project represented particular challenges fitting the close tolerances of the modern design to the older home. Included in the project were numerous innovations that required custom millwork and creative use of materials and techniques

This master bath incorporates an Asian feel with elements of bamboo and a color scheme including jade, copper and turquoise. A bamboo hand painted mural, sheer copper draperies and a custom stained cabinet with mirrored back warm up the space. Ceramic, round penny tile on its floor, stained trim throughout and turquoise shower tile complete the room.

Chrome finishes and a contemporary frameless shower enclosure provide a bit of reflectivity and balance to the natural stone texture at the shower floor tile.

Simple and elegant design grounded in the exterior feel of the building, the layout of each room is unique and designed in relation to the garden outside. The rooms enjoy views of the expansive hotel gardens or of the city and apaiser's customisation opportunities enabled the designer to create unique shapes and forms that differentiate each of the 367 contemporary bathrooms.
