Light and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls. The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier. Relocating to Portland, Oregon from California, this young family immediately hired Amy to redesign their newly purchased home to better fit their needs. The project included updating the kitchen, hall bath, and adding an en suite to their master bedroom. Removing a wall between the kitchen and dining allowed for additional counter space and storage along with improved traffic flow and increased natural light to the heart of the home. This galley style kitchen is focused on efficiency and functionality through custom cabinets with a pantry boasting drawer storage topped with quartz slab for durability, pull-out storage accessories throughout, deep drawers, and a quartz topped coffee bar/ buffet facing the dining area. The master bath and hall bath were born out of a single bath and a closet. While modest in size, the bathrooms are filled with functionality and colorful design elements. Durable hex shaped porcelain tiles compliment the blue vanities topped with white quartz countertops. The shower and tub are both tiled in handmade ceramic tiles, bringing much needed texture and movement of light to the space. The hall bath is outfitted with a toe-kick pull-out step for the family’s youngest member!

The client wanted the master bath to have a spa-like feel to it, with hints of coastal colors. We expanded the small shower enclosure into a large double shower with a bench wall featuring a bamboo-look tile and a pebble stone floor. The shower walls were done in a large 12x24 tile laid in a vertical direction all the way to the ceiling. We carried the pebble stone pattern under the freestanding tub as well, with a free-flowing edge. Over the built in vanity we used the same bamboo-look tile behind a large lighted LED mirror. On the vanity we created a double waterfall edge to finish out the look of the built-in. We added a beautiful Capiz Chandelier to bring in some of the tropical feel that our client wanted. In the toilet room, we added a wainscot with a blue textured wallpaper above to bring in some of that color they wanted as well.

When our client shared their vision for their two-bathroom remodel in Uptown, they expressed a desire for a spa-like experience with a masculine vibe. So we set out to create a space that embodies both relaxation and masculinity. Allow us to introduce this masculine master bathroom—a stunning fusion of functionality and sophistication. The only full bathroom in this 1906 craftsman home needs to function well for a family of four. We swapped out a claw foot tub for a large walk-in shower with a recessed shower curtain track. Two wall-mounted faucets pour into a wide trough sink. A custom-made medicine cabinet with an arched mirror is flanked by two opaque globe sconce lights.

Green is this year’s hottest hue and our custom Sharer Cabinetry vanities stun in a gorgeous basil green! Incorporating bold colors into your design can create just the right amount of interest and flare!

This Chula Vista master bathroom was transformed into an elegant luxury hotel design with this Ariel Cambridge Midnight blue vanity with marble countertops. The shower floor is designed in a Skyline Honed 1 x 1 Hexagon Marble Mosaic tile. Complementing the shower floor and tile walls, as well as creating a striking contrast, the existing vanity was replaced with a custom dual floating vanity from Dura Supreme Cabinetry, finished in Maple Shell Gray. The vanity is topped with a gorgeous Torquay Cambria quartz countertop and accented with Top Knobs black hardware. Two Helios rectangular frameless mirrors with integrated LED lighting and a Kohler recessed medicine cabinet complete this stunning contemporary bathroom remodel.

The upstairs jack and Jill bathroom for two teenage boys was done in black and white palette. Concrete look, hex shaped tiles on the floor add depth and "cool" to the space. The contemporary lights and round metal framed mirror were mounted on a shiplap wall, again adding texture and layers to the space.

You would never know this bathroom is over 20 years old! In the spirit of conserving the budget as well as our environment - we gave the vanity new life with new doors, drawer fronts, hardware and fresh paint! The black fixtures add an elegant "punch" to the space. Custom quartz countertops, new flooring, and unique tile pattern round out the renovation!
