A stunning remodel in Mission Viejo, California is now a stunning feature in this home. Let’s start with the Vanity area. An espresso cabinet topped with a white quartz counter top that houses an undermount square sink. A Moen, Voss faucet in an eight inch spread which matches the brushed nickel accents around the room. Above the vanity, sits a custom matching mirror with beveled glass and a matching front facing vanity light. The Shower is a world apart from the original shower in the home. A 3x5 foot shower donning 12”x24” commercially rated, slip resistant, porcelain tile, which looks like vein cut travertine. An accent linear band made of mosaic travertine and glass was added. The shower is tiled from floor to ceiling, and includes a rebuilt custom shower seat. Two grab bars for safety and security were added as well. For functionality we changed the small single niche that was in the space to two 15” niches. A shelf made of the same tile as the shower makes for a seamless transition. We used a frameless shower enclosure with sliding glass doors. The base of the shower includes a 4x4 curb, floated shower floor, and a hot mop shower pan. For the tile floor we designed a 2”x2” basket weave pattern, finished with an acrylic grout, using the same tile we put on walls and floor. An Ebbe flow shower drain with hair catcher is a gorgeous way to center the space. Speaking of the same tile, we continued the 12x24 inch porcelain tile along the entire bathroom floor, creating a larger feel to the stunning room.

The cool gray tones of this master bath design in Gainesville set the backdrop for a soothing space in this home. The large alcove shower with a frameless glass door and linear drain creates a bright, relaxing space with both a rainfall and handheld Kohler showerhead. The shower also includes glass corner shelves for handy storage and a grab bar. The shower and bathroom floor are both tiled in Daltile Florentine porcelain tile with striking white and gray tones, giving the entire space a fluid feel. The Shiloh Cabinetry vanity and linen cabinet in a light gray wood finish are accented by Richelieu hardware. The vanity is topped by an engineered quartz countertop, undermount sink, and Delta Faucet, along with Glasscrafters medicine cabinet and wall sconces. A half wall separates the vanity from a Toto Drake II toilet, completing the bath design.

Combining an everyday hallway bathroom with the main guest bath/powder room is not an easy task. The hallway bath needs to have a lot of utility with durable materials and functional storage. It also wants to be a bit “dressy” to make house guests feel special. This bathroom needed to do both. We first addressed its utility with bathroom necessities including the tub/shower. The recessed medicine cabinet in combination with an elongated vanity tackles all the storage needs including a concealed waste bin. Thoughtfully placed towel hooks are mostly out of sight behind the door while the half-wall hides the paper holder and a niche for other toilet necessities. It’s the materials that elevate this bathroom to powder room status. The tri-color marble penny tile sets the scene for the color palette. Carved black marble wall tile adds the necessary drama flowing along two walls. The remaining two walls of tile keep the room durable while softening the effects of the black walls and vanity. Rounded elements such as the light fixtures and the apron sink punctuate and carry the theme of the floor tile throughout the bathroom. Polished chrome fixtures along with the beefy frameless glass shower enclosure add just enough sparkle and contrast.

This bathroom remodel in Fulton, Missouri started out by removing sheetrock, old wallpaper and flooring, taking the bathroom nearly down to the studs before its renovation. Then the Dimensions In Wood team laid ceramic tile flooring throughout. A fully glassed-in, walk-in Onyx base shower was installed with a handheld shower sprayer, a handicap-accessible, safety grab bar, and small shower seat. Decorative accent glass tiles add an attractive element to the floor-to-ceiling shower tile, and also extend inside the two shelf shower niche. A full bathtub still gives the home owners the option for a shower or a soak. The single sink vanity has a Taj Mahal countertop which is a quartzite that resembles Italian Calacatta marble in appearance, but is much harder and more durable. A to the ceiling tiled backsplash sets the stage for this guest bathroom. In a blend of blues, this arabesque damask tile gives the space a bit of pizazz. The bamboo vanity and grey concrete tile floors add contrast.

We turned this older 1950s bathroom into a modern bathroom. We added a brand new vanity, mirror, faucets, shower glass encasing, and a new floor.
