When planning this custom residence, the owners had a clear vision – to create an inviting home for their family, with plenty of opportunities to entertain, play, and relax and unwind. They asked for an interior that was approachable and rugged, with an aesthetic that would stand the test of time. Amy Carman Design was tasked with designing all of the millwork, custom cabinetry and interior architecture throughout, including a private theater, lower level bar, game room and a sport court. A materials palette of reclaimed barn wood, gray-washed oak, natural stone, black windows, handmade and vintage-inspired tile, and a mix of white and stained woodwork help set the stage for the furnishings. This down-to-earth vibe carries through to every piece of furniture, artwork, light fixture and textile in the home, creating an overall sense of warmth and authenticity.

This well used but dreary bathroom was ready for an update but this time, materials were selected that not only looked great but would stand the test of time. The large steam shower (6x6') was like a dark cave with one glass door allowing light. To create a brighter shower space and the feel of an even larger shower, the wall was removed and full glass panels now allowed full sunlight streaming into the shower which avoids the growth of mold and mildew in this newly brighter space which also expands the bathroom by showing all the spaces. Originally the dark shower was permeated with cracks in the marble marble material and bench seat so mold and mildew had a home. The designer specified Porcelain slabs for a carefree un-penetrable material that had fewer grouted seams and added luxury to the new bath. Although Quartz is a hard material and fine to use in a shower, it is not suggested for steam showers because there is some porosity. A free standing bench was fabricated from quartz which works well. A new free standing, hydrotherapy tub was installed allowing more free space around the tub area and instilling luxury with the use of beautiful marble for the walls and flooring. A lovely crystal chandelier emphasizes the height of the room and the lovely tall window.. Two smaller vanities were replaced by a larger U shaped vanity allotting two corner lazy susan cabinets for storing larger items. The center cabinet was used to store 3 laundry bins that roll out, one for towels and one for his and one for her delicates. Normally this space would be a makeup dressing table but since we were able to design a large one in her closet, she felt laundry bins were more needed in this bathroom. Instead of constructing a closet in the bathroom, the designer suggested an elegant glass front French Armoire to not encumber the space with a wall for the closet.The new bathroom is stunning and stops the heart on entering with all the luxurious amenities.

Quick and easy update with to a full guest bathroom we did in conjunction with the owner's suite bathroom with Landmark Remodeling. We made sure that the changes were cost effective and still had a wow factor to them. We did a luxury vinyl plank to save money and did a tiled shower surround with decorative feature to heighten the finish level. We also did mixed metals and an equal balance of tan and gray to keep it from being trendy.

Frameless shower enclosure with pivot door, a hand held shower head as well as a soft rainwater shower head make taking a shower a relaxing experience. Hand painted concrete tile on the flooring will warm up as it patinas while the porcelain tile in the shower is will maintain its classic look and ease of cleaning. Specific to this photo: A view of our vanity with their choice in an open shower. Our vanity is 60-inches and made with solid timber paired with naturally sourced Carrara marble from Italy. The homeowner chose silver hardware throughout their bathroom, which is featured in the faucets along with their shower hardware. The shower has an open door, and features glass paneling, chevron black accent ceramic tiling, multiple shower heads, and an in-wall shelf. This bathroom was a collaborative project in which we worked with the architect in a home located on Mervin Street in Bentleigh East in Australia. This master bathroom features our Davenport 60-inch bathroom vanity with double basin sinks in the Hampton Gray coloring. The Davenport model comes with a natural white Carrara marble top sourced from Italy. This master bathroom features an open shower with multiple streams, chevron tiling, and modern details in the hardware. This master bathroom also has a freestanding curved bath tub from our brand, exclusive to Australia at this time. This bathroom also features a one-piece toilet from our brand, exclusive to Australia. Our architect focused on black and silver accents to pair with the white and grey coloring from the main furniture pieces.

This Beautiful Master Bathroom blurs the lines between modern and contemporary. Take a look at this beautiful chrome bath fixture! We used marble style ceramic tile for the floors and walls, as well as the shower niche. The shower has a glass enclosure with hinged door. Master bathroom design & build in Houston Texas. This master bathroom was custom designed specifically for our client. She wanted a luxurious bathroom with lots of detail, down to the last finish. Our original design had satin brass sink and shower fixtures. The client loved the satin brass plumbing fixtures, but was a bit apprehensive going with the satin brass plumbing fixtures. Feeling it would lock her down for a long commitment. So we worked a design out that allowed us to mix metal finishes. This way our client could have the satin brass look without the commitment of the plumbing fixtures. We started mixing metals by presenting a chandelier made by Curry & Company, the "Zenda Orb Chandelier" that has a mix of silver and gold. From there we added the satin brass, large round bar pulls, by "Lewis Dolin" and the satin brass door knobs from Emtek. We also suspended a gold mirror in the window of the makeup station. We used a waterjet marble from Tilebar, called "Abernethy Marble." The cobalt blue interior doors leading into the Master Bath set the gold fixtures just right.

The beautiful emerald tile really makes this remodel pop! For this project, we started with a new deep soaking tub, shower niche, and Latricrete Hydro-Ban waterproofing. The finishes included emerald green subway tile, Kohler Brass fixtures, and a Kohler sliding shower door. We finished up with a few final touches to the mirror, lighting, and towel rods.
