浴室

This young married couple enlisted our help to update their recently purchased condo into a brighter, open space that reflected their taste. They traveled to Copenhagen at the onset of their trip, and that trip largely influenced the design direction of their home, from the herringbone floors to the Copenhagen-based kitchen cabinetry. We blended their love of European interiors with their Asian heritage and created a soft, minimalist, cozy interior with an emphasis on clean lines and muted palettes.

The owners of this New Braunfels house have a love of Spanish Colonial architecture, and were influenced by the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio. The home elegantly showcases their collection of furniture and artifacts. Handmade cement tiles are used as stair risers, and beautifully accent the Saltillo tile floor.

This is the kids bathroom and I wanted it to be playful. Adding geometry and pattern in the floor makes a bold fun statement. I used enhances subway tile with beautiful matte texture in two colors. I tiled the tub alcove dark blue with a full length niche for all the bath toys that accumulate. In the rest of the bathroom, I used white tiles. The custom Lacava vanity with a black open niche makes a strong statement here and jumps off against the white tiles. This is a details shot to satissfy the design nerd in me. Take a look a the transitions of different matierals from teh floor tile to teh tub to the end of blue and start of white tile. The black schluter detail and the pocket door. Very well executed.

How to transform that boring, dated guest bath into a fresh new space with Florida vacation atmosphere? Add light, glass, and texture all set against a soothing white palette. High gloss aqua glass in the shower creates an “under the sea” water experience. Removal of an existing linen closet visually opens the space, making room for a private grooming area and open shelving for towel storage in the shower room. Casual hooks for wet towels. Aqua basket weave glass backsplash at the vanity adds fun and light-reflecting texture. This “spa” like guest bath says relax and welcome to paradise. This wonderful Denver bathroom is a relaxing retreat in an urban environment! Our client wanted a deep blue escape, and we achieved that through various aesthetic applications. Deep blue painted walls and dancing blue glass mosaic move throughout the space. We introduced concrete-look floor tiles for a bit of natural stone earthiness. The rich colors are contrasted by sharp whites and bright chromes.

Complete remodel with safe, aging-in-place features and hotel style in the main bathroom.
