This traditional Italian inspired Master Ensuite epitomises the essence of Italian luxury. Only one quarry in the world is able to produce Calaccatta gold marble and that is the stone quarry found in Carrara Italy, making it the most expensive marble in the world. These full height large format tiles beautifully show the stones natural gold veins. This gold accent is then emphasised through out the bathroom through items like the brushed brass taps and the brushed brass frame on which the basin and vanity unit are supported. To give the bathroom that final piece of Italian opulence the bathroom floor has been designed with a contrasting black marble inlay.

Relaxing Bathroom in Horsham, West Sussex Marble tiling, contemporary furniture choices and ambient lighting create a spa-like bathroom space for this Horsham client. The Brief Our Horsham-based bathroom designer Martin was tasked with creating a new layout as well as implementing a relaxing and spa-like feel in this Horsham bathroom. Within the compact space, Martin had to incorporate plenty of storage and some nice features to make the room feel inviting, but not cluttered in any way. It was clear a unique layout and design were required to achieve all elements of this brief. Design Elements A unique design is exactly what Martin has conjured for this client. The most impressive part of the design is the storage and mirror area at the rear of the room. A clever combination of Graphite Grey Mereway furniture has been used above the ledge area to provide this client with hidden away storage, a large mirror area and a space to store some bathing essentials. This area also conceals some of the ambient, spa-like features within this room. A concealed cistern is fitted behind white marble tiles, whilst a niche adds further storage for bathing items. Discrete downlights are fitted above the mirror and within the tiled niche area to create a nice ambience to the room. Special Inclusions A larger bath was a key requirement of the brief, and so Martin has incorporated a large designer-style bath ideal for relaxing. Around the bath area are plenty of places for decorative items. Opposite, a smaller wall-hung unit provides additional storage and is also equipped with an integrated sink, in the same Graphite Grey finish. Project Highlight The numerous decorative areas are a great highlight of this project. Each add to the relaxing ambience of this bathroom and provide a place to store decorative items that contribute to the spa-like feel. They also highlight the great thought that has gone into the design of this space. The End Result The result is a bathroom that delivers upon all the requirements of this client’s brief and more. This project is also a great example of what can be achieved within a compact bathroom space, and what can be achieved with a well-thought-out design. This bathroom design was based around its key Architectural feature: the stunning curved window. Looking out of this window whilst using the basin or bathing was key in our Spatial layout decision making. A vanity unit was designed to fit the cavity of the window perfectly whilst providing ample storage and surface space. Part of a bigger Project to be photographed soon! Winner of a NYC Landmarks Conservancy Award for historic preservation, the George B. and Susan Elkins house, dating to approximately 1852, was painstakingly restored, enlarged and modernized in 2019. This building, the oldest remaining house in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, has been recognized by the NYC Landmarks Commission as an Individual Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was essentially a ruin prior to the renovation. Interiors had been gutted, there were gaping holes in the roof and the exterior was badly damaged and covered with layers of non-historic siding. The exterior was completely restored to historically-accurate condition and the extensions at the sides were designed to be distinctly modern but deferential to the historic facade. The new interiors are thoroughly modern and many of the finishes utilize materials reclaimed during demolition.

Nos clients avaient vécu une expérience négative lors de la rénovation de leur précédent appartement. Pour ce nouvel achat, ils souhaitaient une solution intégrée, sérieuse, capable de garantir les délais pour l'arrivée de leur nouvel enfant. ⁠ ⁠ Le chantier de ce projet a été lourd car nous avions d'importants travaux à exécuter avec des matériaux compliqués (grands carreaux dans la SDB, des menuiseries chiadées, etc.) ⁠ ⁠ Il y a eu ainsi des inversions de pièces, la salle de bain a pris la place de l'ancienne cuisine et la cuisine actuelle s'est invitée dans la salle à manger/salon. ⁠ ⁠ Pour les menuiseries travaillées, nous avons investi les alcôves du salon afin de donner forme à cette immense bibliothèque. Création sur mesure, elle permet de mettre en valeur la cheminée d'époque et de camoufler les chauffages de la pièce. Dans les chambres, des rangements semi sur mesure prennent place. Afin d'épouser toute la hauteur des pièces, nous avons utilisé des rangements @ikeafrance et des sur caissons. ⁠ ⁠ Le résultat est à la hauteur des espérances de nos clients. Un intérieur élégant où viennent se marier à merveille des choix fonctionnels et de style.
