Small contemporary shower room for a loft conversion in Walthamstow village. The blue vertical tiles mirror the blue wall panelling in the office/guestroom adjacent to the shower room.

Bagno padronale, giocato tutto sui toni del bianco e dell'azzurro con inserti in legno. La sostituzione della vasca tradizionale con il piatto doccia da 120 cm, ha consentito la realizzazione di una colonna dalla duplice funzione: nicchia portaoggetti sul lato della doccia e vano colonna con ripiani in legno portasciugamani sull'esterno. Per i rivestimenti abbiamo giocato con due finiture diverse: un effetto carta da parati per la zona lavabo e sanitari ed un effetto mattoncino per l'interno della doccia. Anche in questo ambienti richiami classici, con la rubinetteria ed i corpi illuminanti.

Ванная комната не отличается от общей концепции дизайна: светлая, уютная и присутствие древесной отделки. Изначально, заказчик предложил вариант голубой плитки, как цветовая гамма в спальне. Ему было предложено два варианта: по его пожеланию и по идее дизайнера, которая включает в себя общий стиль интерьера. Заказчик предпочёл вариант дизайнера, что ещё раз подтвердило её опыт и умение понимать клиента.

The previous owners had already converted the second bedroom into a large bathroom, but the use of space was terrible, and the colour scheme was drab and uninspiring. The clients wanted a space that reflected their love of colour and travel, taking influences from around the globe. They also required better storage as the washing machine needed to be accommodated within the space. And they were keen to have both a modern freestanding bath and a large walk-in shower, and they wanted the room to feel cosy rather than just full of hard surfaces. This is the main bathroom in the house, and they wanted it to make a statement, but with a fairly tight budget!

Il bagno è illuminato da una finestra velux che durante l’arco della giornata crea effetti di luce scenografici all’interno. Il rivestimento utilizzato è abbastanza scuro: il tono va dal verde al blu con note di ruggine che conferiscono quell’effetto materico quasi palpabile. Una grossa doccia walk-in e una vasca idromassaggio attribuiscono al bagno le sembianze di una spa privata. The clients initial enquiry included a remodel and refurbish 3 bathrooms (includes downstairs cloakroom). The customer was really driven by having an eclectic look within her space. We worked closely with the customer to propose some very unique tile options. The ground floor was fully decorated, new radiators in a Royal Blue & lighting, custom made from Etsy. We worked alongside Wren Kitchens to create our clients gorgeous blue kitchen and large feature island. The downstairs WC was also renovated with new Mainzu Ceramica flooring from TILE EXPERT, in Carino Perla Gray, the colourful sink backsplash were the Equipe Ceramicas tile in the country Patchwork Set, bathroom finishes from easy bathrooms and the Serena, solid Oak vanity from Tikamoon. In the Family bathroom the client wanted warmer tones and we took Moroccan inspiration for her final tile choices of ceramic wall tiles from TILE EXPERT, in the colours, Mural Sonata, to frame the shower space, Livorno Blanco & Livorno Green, the other bathroom finishes were from easy bathrooms and the vanity was the Jill - Solid teak and ceramic bathroom cabinet, from Tikamoon. The second floor bathroom was renovated with the central door being moved to the side of the room & exchanged for a pocket door, in order to make better use of the space which was previously cramped. This bathroom had a custom shower screen designed due to the sloped ceiling by Brooklands Glass. Bathroom finishes are by Easy Bathrooms & the vanity & bowl are the Romeo - Solid teak vanity unit & the Orion - Grey terrazzo Washbasin from Tikamoon. This unique space has a sunflower feature ceramic wall tile which draws the eye in the space from TILE EXPERT in Carino Deco Marla & Carino Perla Gray.

Ensuite bathing , contemplation and meditation. The bath was selected with curved ends to nestle into the curved feature wall, which splits at a different radius to become a shower shelf.
