Master Bathroom remodel in North Fork vacation house. The marble tile floor flows straight through to the shower eliminating the need for a curb. A stationary glass panel keeps the water in and eliminates the need for a door. Glass tile on the walls compliments the marble on the floor while maintaining the modern feel of the space.

Little did our homeowner know how much his inspiration for his master bathroom renovation might mean to him after the year of Covid 2020. Living in a land-locked state meant a lot of travel to partake in his love of scuba diving throughout the world. When thinking about remodeling his bath, it was only natural for him to want to bring one of his favorite island diving spots home. We were asked to create an elegant bathroom that captured the elements of the Caribbean with some of the colors and textures of the sand and the sea. The pallet fell into place with the sourcing of a natural quartzite slab for the countertop that included aqua and deep navy blues accented by coral and sand colors. Floating vanities in a sandy, bleached wood with an accent of louvered shutter doors give the space an open airy feeling. A sculpted tub with a wave pattern was set atop a bed of pebble stone and beneath a wall of bamboo stone tile. A tub ledge provides access for products. The large format floor and shower tile (24 x 48) we specified brings to mind the trademark creamy white sand-swept swirls of Caribbean beaches. The walk-in curbless shower boasts three shower heads with a rain head, standard shower head, and a handheld wand near the bench toped in natural quartzite. Pebble stone finishes the floor off with an authentic nod to the beaches for the feet.

From the initial consultation call & property-visit, this Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego whole-home remodel was a collaborative effort between LionCraft Construction & our clients. As a Design & Build firm, we were able to utilize our design expertise and 44+ years of construction experience to help our clients achieve the home of their dreams. Through initial communication about texture, materials and style preferences, we were able to locate specific products and services that resulted in a gorgeous farmhouse design job with a modern twist, taking advantage of the bones of the home and some creative solutions to the clients’ existing problems.

This beautiful bathroom has light gray marble floors. The large shower has white Carrera marble subway tiled walls, gray marble basketweave tile floor, and a luxurious oil rubbed bronze rainfall shower head. The two vanities are made of solid cherry wood and are topped with a blue-gray quartzite. French gold and oil rubbed bronze fixtures add a warm and polished detail. The bathroom’s window seat is special spot, providing extra storage and lots of light. The main projects in this Wayne, PA home were renovating the kitchen and the master bathroom, but we also updated the mudroom and the dining room. Using different materials and textures in light colors, we opened up and brightened this lovely home giving it an overall light and airy feel. Interior Designer Larina Kase, of Wayne, PA, used furniture and accent pieces in bright or contrasting colors that really shine against the light, neutral colored palettes in each room. This bathroom, was the result of removing a center wall, two closets, two bathrooms, and reconfiguring part of a guest bedroom space to accommodate, a new powder room, a home office, one larger closet, and one very nice sized bathroom with a skylight and a wet room. The skylight adds so much ambiance and light to a windowless room. I love the way it illuminates this space, even at night the moonlight flows in.... I placed these fun little pendants in a dancing pose for a bit of whimsy and to echo the playfulness of the sink. We went with a herringbone tile on the walls and a modern leaf mosaic on the floor.

Bedwardine Road is our epic renovation and extension of a vast Victorian villa in Crystal Palace, south-east London. Traditional architectural details such as flat brick arches and a denticulated brickwork entablature on the rear elevation counterbalance a kitchen that feels like a New York loft, complete with a polished concrete floor, underfloor heating and floor to ceiling Crittall windows. Interiors details include as a hidden “jib” door that provides access to a dressing room and theatre lights in the master bathroom.

In this Lake View bathroom, we kept the floorplan and not much else. The main feature is the custom walk-in shower, with beveled white subway tiles, corner bench, and framed niche. There are a luxurious 3 showerheads: standard, rainfall, and handheld. With smooth curves and a modern brushed nickel finish, the shower fixtures are environmentally conscious and ADA compliant. The shower floor is a porcelain 2×2 hexagon mosaic with a marble print. This gives you the look of expensive stone, but without the maintenance and slipping of the real thing. The tile coordinates with the statuary classique quartz used on the vanity counter, which also has a polished marble print to it, and the bracket wall shelves which are real marble (though you can hardly tell the difference by looking). The Bertch vanity is a dark cherry shale finish to give some contrast in the white bathroom, with shaker doors and an undermount sink. The original bathroom was lacking in storage, so we took down the extra-wide mirror. In its place, we have those open shelves and an oval mirrored medicine cabinet, recessed so you can’t even tell it’s hiding all that storage. And speaking of hidden features, the bathroom is behind a pocket door, thus saving some extra floor space. Finally, that flooring. The tile is a Turkish Stratford porcelain tile, 8×8 with matte finish. This adds some small details while giving that pop of color people love. Further, the bronze tones in the tile help tie in the dark vanity.
