Glass Walk in Shower with Windows and dual swing door

A tile and glass shower features a shower head rail system that is flanked by windows on both sides. The glass door swings out and in. The wall visible from the door when you walk in is a one inch glass mosaic tile that pulls all the colors from the room together. Brass plumbing fixtures and brass hardware add warmth. Limestone tile floors add texture. Pendants were used on each side of the vanity and reflect in the framed mirror.

Fun with Recycled Glass Tile

JBR Designs

We created this fun Guest bathroom for our wonderful clients to enjoy. We selected a wonderful patterned blue and white recycled glass tile for the feature wall of the shower, and used it as a jumping off point for the rest of the design. We complemented the wall tile with a light gray hexagon porcelain tile on the main floor and a smaller version in the shower area. Coupled with a matching blue vanity, the space comes together with an ease and flow in a stylish bathroom for family and friends to enjoy!

Like many other homeowners, the Moore’s were looking to remove their non used soaker tub and optimize their bathroom to better suit their needs. We achieved this for them be removing the tub and increasing their vanity wall area with a tall matching linen cabinet for storage. This still left a nice space for Mr. to have his sitting area, which was important to him. Their bathroom prior to remodeling had a small and enclosed fiberglass shower stall with the toilet in front. We relocated the toilet, where a linen closet used to be, and made its own room for it. Also, we increased the depth of the shower and made it tile to give them a more spacious space with a half wall and glass hinged door.

This lavish primary bathroom stars an illuminated, floating vanity brilliantly suited with French gold fixtures and set before floor-to-ceiling chevron tile. The walk-in shower features large, book-matched porcelain slabs that mirror the pattern, movement, and veining of marble. As a stylistic nod to the previous design inhabiting this space, our designers created a custom wood niche lined with wallpaper passed down through generations.

Keeping with the original location of the vanity and toilet for cost savings; we modernized this bathroom and increased functionality by adding a lighted recessed medicine cabinet and a new vanity. The hydroslide shower door eliminates the obtrusive swing door and increases the doorway opening.

This is the girls bathroom, with rolling glass shower door, Perrin and Rowe exposed shower pipe, large rainhead and hand shower. There is a tiled strip drain in the shower under the shower pipe and also at the shower door threshold to insure that water does not escape into the room. An Aquia dual flush Toto Toilet is used with a shallow utility cabinet above. The vanity faucet is mounted to the face of the mirror and there is a glazed white painted finish applied with girly pink drawer pulls.

This contemporary bathroom design in Doylestown, PA combines sleek lines with comfort and style to create a space that will be the center of attention in any home. The white DuraSupreme cabinets pair perfectly with the Cambria engineered quartz countertop, Riobel fixtures, and Top Knobs hardware, all accented by Voguebay decorative tile behind the Gatco tilt mirrors. Cabinetry includes a makeup vanity with Fleurco backlit mirror, customized pull-out storage, pull-out grooming cabinet, and tower cabinets with mullion doors. 浴室リフォームのデザイン、レイアウト、費用

浴室リフォームの技法には大きく分けて「在来工法」と「ユニットバス (システムバス)」の2通りがあります。

在来工法：「在来工法」とは、壁、床、窓枠、浴槽などを実際の現場で左官、大工、タイル職人等が作り上げていく技法で、浴室の大きさや形に合わせて自由にレイアウトをデザインできたり、趣のあるタイルで壁を演出することができたりといった点が利点と言えます。昔ながらのこの技法には、費用が高い、工期が長い、年数が経つと水漏れの心配がある、などの注意点があります。
ユニットバス（システムバス）：比較的新しいこの技法は、予め工場で生産されたパーツ (壁、バスタブ、シャワーユニットなど) を現場で組み立てていく技法で、防水性、断熱性に優れ、工期を短縮できるだけでなく、費用も大幅に抑えることができます。在来工法と比べると、デザインやレイアウトの自由度が低い点が欠点としてあげられます。

浴室にプラスアルファでお風呂タイムをもっと楽しく

介護が必要な方には、浴室に浴槽手すりやシャワーチェア、すべり止めマットなどの安全グッズを使って、癒やしの時間を安全にゆっくりと楽しんでもらいましょう。浴室に床暖房を取り入れると、冬場のあのヒンヤリ感がなくなり、ヒートショックの防止に効果が期待できます。大粒のお湯が頭上から降り注ぐように全身を包み込むレインシャワー水栓は、効率的に身体を温めてくれます。また最近では、浴室テレビを装備して、あたたかいお湯に浸かりながらテレビ番組や映画を楽しむ方も増えています。ライフスタイルにあわせて、浴室をカスタマイズしてみてはいかがでしょうか？

ラクラク片付け、快適な浴室！

シャンプーやコンディショナーのボトルや、浴槽洗いのブラシは、ワイヤーラック、つっぱりコーナーラック、吸盤シェルフなど壁面収納グッズを活用して、浴室の使いやすい場所に設置しましょう。ボディスポンジなど、肌に触れるものはお掃除グッズから離れた場所に置き、しっかり水切りができるよう吸盤フックなどにかけるといいでしょう。また、浴室内には必要なアイテムだけをセレクトして置き、余分なモノは浴室外の脱衣所の棚に保管するなどの工夫も、お風呂場を清潔に保つコツです。風呂ふたも、フックやスタンド等を使って収納し、しっかり乾燥させれば、カビやぬめりの発生を防ぐことができます。

ホテルのようなバスルームをつくるコツ

ホテルライクなバスルームに誰しもが憧れたことがあるでしょう。すっきりとした収納、余計なものやプライベート感がない、トイレとバスが一緒の三点ユニットでも清潔感があるのがホテルのバスルームの特徴です。このようなシンプルな印象のバスルームにするコツは、収納をできるかぎり1カ所にまとめるということです。タオルや着替え、トイレットペーパーや洗剤など溢れがち (しかもバスルームに置きがち) な日用品のストックは、必要分だけをコンパクトに整理して、同素材や同系色の収納ボックスやラックにまとめることで、全体を統一感ある印象に見せます。ところで、このようなホテルライクなバスルームはアメリカのバスルームが元になっていますが、アメリカの Houzz サイトの特集記事 (Story) には、“Bathroom 1 1/2” や “Bathroom 3/4” などと表記されているものがあります。これは、バスルームを「バスタブ」、「シャワー」、「トイレ」、「洗面台」の4つ分けて、それぞれ 1/4 と考え、4つすべてある場合は ”Bathroom 1”、それに加えてトイレと洗面台がもう1カ所ずつある場合は “Bathroom 1 1/2”、シャワー、トイレ、洗面台だけでバスタブがない場合は “Bathroom 3/4” のように表現されます。
