More contemporary than I thought I'd like, but it appeals to us. Roofline, stone columns - not wood exterior.
Backside of next house. This upper roofline seems strange.
Light stone, gray roof, interesting but not quite right.
Stone with metal roof - just trying the idea out.

Shed dormers, brick & stone house, streamlined roof.
Stone & clerestory - hard to see house because of pergola.
I like this architect group's use of brick and stone.
Wide overhang over covered porch.
Arches on porch.
Craftsman wrap around porch.
I like the porch - not sure about the stone. I do like the lighter colors, airy feel.
Concrete shingles? Considering looks that include stone and a low maintenance shingle or composite board.

Another brick color?
Taupe bricks with raked mortar joints. This example is too modern for us, but we liked the brickwork as an option for exterior veneer.
Rear porch and veranda. Love the woodwork ceiling of the veranda space.
Lovely front porch, dormer giving light into house is also repeated on back of plan. Not sure about 3/4 stone walls. Like a circular drive as a entryway concept.
Prairie with limestone walls, also not the very-long downspout section to connect from the gutter back to the wall. Maybe bring the drains straight down with chains, rather than back to downspouts? Probably depends on what the surfaces are around the house under the eaves?
