Yiz and Preston are among the very best professionals I have worked with on a renovation - they are experts, problem solvers, hard workers, and highly responsive, and have assembled a great network of very skilled specialists for demo and construction, carpentry, plumbing, electric, tile work and painting. They helped me transform a badly designed, small, poor quality kitchen in a 118-year-old Philly condo building into a beautiful open and highly functional space to feed the body and soul, to act as a respite from life's stresses. They are excellent communicators, offered great suggestions, paid strong attention to detail, and were flexible when it came to sourcing materials, so I always had price and quality options between what I found on my own and what they could supply. Billing was always timely and accurate. My project had an aggressive timeline, which they helped me meet. When I decided I also needed new inside doors and closet systems for the unit, they did that, too, with great results. I would hire these guys again, in a heartbeat! C

Yiz Gilady designed a wonderful kitchen for us, the design was masterful far better than any we were offered by other construction companies. Preston and Yizhar have done multiple projects for me over the last 10 years, and I enthusiastically recommend them without hesitation. Yizhar is gifted with the ability to visualize new ideas for spaces and to anticipate functionality needs and aesthetic desires. And Preston somehow makes it ALL happen, despite the many challenges that my small, Federalist-era, center city condo presents! Our most recent project was in May 2015, and it involved converting an un-used office space off the master bedroom into an open-concept closet, which I never would have previously considered. Preston and Yiz showed us an example at one of their other clients’ homes, and we were sold. Two years later, I still love everything about it, including Yiz’ suggestion to move the washer and dryer into the closet. We also did a re-model of the master bath. Preston and Yiz convinced us to slightly bump the bathroom out into the bedroom, and I was reluctant but they were right! This small change allowed us to flip the layout of the bathroom and double the size of the shower, and the “missing” space in the bedroom was dead space which wasn’t used and isn’t missed. We converted the first floor full bathroom into a smaller powder room, and used the extra space to add a much-needed coat closet on the first floor, and then added a full bath to the guest bathroom. Once again, Preston and Yiz were right, and they improved functionality and increased beauty. They thought of (and assisted with) everything, including organizing, packing and storing our belongings so that we could live in our condo with our dog while the renovations were underway. They were on time and stayed within our budget. They are completely trustworthy in our home and with our pets. Preston and Yizhar are true professionals and I can’t overstate how pleased I am with their work!

Assurance Construction completely remodeled the first floor of our center city Philadelphia home. The project included an entirely new kitchen. The job was completed to perfection, and it was done on time and comfortably within our budget. The experience working with Assurance Construction team was one of the best experiences we have ever had working with a contractor. They took design changes which we suggested along the way in stride, and made sure every detail was "nailed down" and completed to our complete satisfaction. These guys are real pros!

Assurance Construction is by far the most professional and honest vendor I have ever worked with/hired. I use them for all of my home improvements, as well as all of my problems. First, my home improvements. They have redone 4 of my bathrooms, plus 4 other major projects in the house. The most recent 2 projects, I let their professional Interior designer pick everything out for me. All other projects we have accomplished together but I couldn't have done it without his guidance and expertise. As for everyday repairs and plumbing problems, I have one recent example. I found a major leak in my basement pipe at 2am after Thanksgiving. I turned off my water and emailed immediately the problem. First thing Friday morning, I not only got a reply, but Preston (the owner) came out first thing to fix it. This is just one of many examples why I have been doing business with Assurance Construction for years.

I cannot say enough about the quality workmanship, attention to detail and talent for design that these gentlemen bring to their work. They are extraordinarily professional, intelligent, and responsible. They have been responsible for a near-total remodel of our house, and we would trust them with any needed further work. Our turn of the century house offered lots of challenges when we attempted a kitchen renovation. We waited a long time to find a team that was sensitive to what we wanted. This design-construction team provided an initial creative design that captured the essence of the Victorian/Arts and Crafts period without sacrificing the conveniences of a modern kitchen-- where we gather and spend many hours as a family cooking and entertaining. The project included a kitchen, laundry room and butler's pantry and involved removing and changing doors and windows and the addition of a powder room. We met together frequently as the project progressed and the designer accompanied us to showrooms for appliances, tile, granite, flooring etc. As the unusual and unforeseen problems of our old house arose, this team was immediately on it, problem solving with us, assuring us that solutions could be found, and flexibly offered options and accommodations. They kept to their initial proposed schedule and the finished space is elegant and functional. We have a beautiful kitchen space where our friends and family cook together!
